I worked at a restaurant about 100 yards from my house as a dishwasher, it wasnt so bad until it got busy and then it was horrible but it was so close that I could literally walk there in 1 minute but that was the only good thing. DONT BE A DISHWASHER YOU'LL REGRET IT!

I was a waitress at a family-owned Mexican restaurant in my hometown. I liked it because I could work 2-3 dinner rush shifts on the weekdays, and I saw people I knew all day. It also gave me the experience do get another waitress job the same week I moved to my college town.

I worked for an after school program, when I was 15. It was me and a bunch of kids (20-30 on any given day) and I'd watch them for 2 hours after school, make them snacks, help them with their homework, play with them, etc etc. At first I hated it because I was really shy and timid, but after a while I got used to all the kids and learned how to put my foot down. They were a non profit program and couldnt get funding from the city, so it eventually went out of business , which was sad. There were alot of good kids and I really missed them.

P{ap[er boy.
That should read "paper boy". I have a problem with "p"
on my keyboard.
I was almost 14 and sold papers after school. Long hours and not much money - better than no money though!

(This is my 1000th answer, thought I'd never get there!)
