Ok, so there is a building burning down, inside is your pet and somebody you know is a complete worthless son of a *****. You can only save one....Who do you pick? No stuff like, well my cat wouldn't hold still so I'd have to go with the human. The pet is in a carrying cage and will go easily.

I'd have to save the person, hands down. Much as I love my cats, they are only animals. When one became mean a few years ago I thought nothing of having her put down because she had become a danger to my kids.
I know that sounds cruel, but no matter how much I might love my cats (and I do!) I value human life more.

i love my pet but i would try and save the person, because a person has soul that either will go to heaven or hell. Animals don't. so a human is more important than an animal. Perhaps, by saving the person, they will change there attitude and life.

I'd save the person for various reasons, even though it would break my heart and plague me mourning the loss of my furry friend and knowing what they went through.
Just the thought of it - the fire, the smoke, the noise, the danger, the emotion - I don't even want to think about it anymore or go into detail.
'Scuse me, I'm gonna go hug my four-footed babies.

life is very important to us..just like others.. as we always judging people in negative or positive sense..other people also just do the same thing.. what if people judge you just the same way we judge that 'worthless son"???? the main thing is to save others life...it's better for us to save the human first without neglect or no effort to save the cat...

I save the human... as worthless as he is, it's not up to me to decide that. A person takes precedence over an animal.
