Run 1 mile in the morning and 1 mile at night. Also, getting a good night of sleep can also help you lose weight. Im 5-9 190 pounds, my weight has been very unstable through out my life, it has been going from 177 to 220 pounds. I found eating an early dinner and getting plenty of rest the best method for losing weight. good luck on your goal and never give up. :)

at least you're not one of those teens who say I want to lose 80 pounds in two weeks. You know that a healthy way to lose weight is no more than 1-2 pounds a week and for that I commend you. As for your question, you should run until you work up a good sweat, and feel like you've had a good workout, but not so far that you don't feel like running back, and you don't want to overdo it and get injuries either. Try running 2 and a half miles for a week, then increase it by a little bit every week. Of course ask your folks if they think it's ok, since eventually you might find yourself running 10 miles from home or whatever. And carry a can of mace with you. It's dangerous for young girls out by themselves.

Exercise for a full hour a day and work your run into the hour of walking. The body doesn't start to burn fat until about 30 minutes of exercise.

Good Luck

i can loose 10 pounds a day
try running as long as you can.
never predict because something can go wrong.
when you go to school, yes i understand, you want to look good and fine.
but think about it!
the other ppl are going through the same thing. so you can just slow your self down a little bit!
and try doing it during your month of september.
run in the early morning and get a rest (like stop at some store, get a drink) and walk to school.

It takes 3,500 to burn one calorie. put on a calorie counter when you run this will let you know how many calories you burn.

To my house and back ;)

I kid, but building muscle will actually make you weigh more, so there is that.
