What if you believed it and it never happened?
Then what? You'd have worried and lost sleep over nothing.

Unless I lived only a few feet above sea level, I would get a reality check. If that did not work, I would proceed to my nearest psychiatrist and request treatment for anxiety disorder.
If I happened to live a few feet above sea level, I would make a note to myself to consider moving in the next ten years or so.

I do believe that if we don't start doing something about our global crisis then our home (earth) will not be livable in 50 years. I have been doing my part the best I can. I recycle frantically and compost all my organic material. I share a car with my husband and he rides his bike as much as he can. I will buy a alternative fuel reliant car as soon as one is available on the market. I lecture my friends and family on the matter as well as on my Myspace. But I would like to know what others are doing about this up and coming catatrophe.

Move where? It's global........There are a lot of organizations out there fighting global warming. But the best way is to do our part as an individual and try our very best not to contribute to pollution. Go spread the word........

Yes, that's a very real possibility. I live in Singapore, which is a small island nation, so if sea levels rise, we're gonna be really affected.
Personally I would move to another country if this happens to me.

Depends on how old you are I suppose. I'm 50. If it was going to be too hot to live in my house in 50 years that means in 20 years or so; when I croak, it'll be just nice and warm. Thanks for the thought.

I would simply choose NOT to believe any more.
Once I no longer BELIEVED, then it would no longer be real.
Science isn't believed, it is. Only religions require the faithful to believe.
