Underarm body odor isn't all that bad. It's a commercialized idea that plays on our fear of being in social situations just to sell deoderant. There are actually some people who like underarm smells. Ever seen a cat or a dog run from your stinky arm pit? No! They'll just curl right up in it, like it's the best thing since a bale of hay.

If it's really bad, go to the doctor. If it's normal smell for someone's armpit, then stop worrying. Just do the normal stuff like washing, eating right, staying healthy, getting plenty of rest and relaxing.

If you're stressed out, it's only going to make your arm pits more fragrant. Make a joke out of it or turn it into a compliment. First, ask people to rate your arm pit smell between 1-10. (I'll bet you get a rating in the normal range.) Tell anyone special that whenever you're around someone who you REALLY like A LOT, the pheremones come poring out of you. Tell them it's a medical condition that doesn't allow you to hide your true feelings.

It's interesting to note that the olfactory sense (sense of smell) gets fatigued to a repeating smell within 15 seconds to two minutes. That means that people won't have to suffer long. So cheer up.

I think there's an herb called something like Pechuli (spelling???) that hippies used in the 1970s that was pretty far out man.

Eat a clove of garlic every day ... or take the equivalent in 'garlic oil gel capsules' ... I know ... garlic is 'stinky' ... but that stink comes from the toxins the garlic is taking out of the body ... after about two weeks, you'll notice that your sweat doesn't smell nearly as bad (especially under the arms and in the crotch), and your breath smells better, too. My husband is a chef, and he cooks with lots of garlic ... and we've eaten a 'clove a day' and neither of us 'smells' ... in fact, we only wear deodorant when it's REALLY HOT OUT ... 80 degrees or above ... because we sweat so much ... but it's not that hot where we live that often. Try it ... two weeks, and I'm sure you'll notice a 'big difference' in the way your armpits smell.

Make a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and then use it as a scrub on your pits and then wash it off. Do not stop and sniff your fingers like the girl from the movie Superstart because that will do no good.

if deoterant is not working for you, you might have a slight yeast infection...
try to wash twice a day with normal soap and water and dry thoroughly... also you might swab the area with white vinegar (use a cotton ball and just swab it).. and eat more live yogurt... if this persists.. go to a physician. you might need some stronger antifungal powders or creams...
