How do you know it is coming? Perhaps you were deceived. Perhaps, the "Great Deception" is that nothing will happen and you will go on a blind witch-hunt.

Oh, the Threat of Divine Punishment. How funny. The Divine conforms to our expectations, not the other way around. It wants to have an influence in our lives. We don't have to mold ourselves to fit It. It will do what is necessary to fit in our lives. There is no One True Faith. There is no reason to fear the Divine or make others fear it.

whoa......do you mean non-believers or do you mean non-christians? I think that atheists have a better chance at heaven then some christians....mostly catholics!!!! What you ppl don't seem to understand is that God gets to decide who will join him not you insignificant peons...do you really think that "believers" that twist his word and condemn his children have a place in heaven? do you also think that hypocrites that molest children in the church have a place with him....do you think that just because you call yourself a believer you have a place with him? each man will be judged according to his works!!! remember that!

Do believers understand.... anything? Or do they just blindly follow their religious leaders and accept whatever they tell them to believe?

Okay, one more time: we don't believe in your god, your sin, or your hell. That is YOUR paranoia. Maybe you should work on your own issues and let us just live our lives in peace.

Non-believers don't BELIEVE that their lives are in peril. Understanding has nothing to do with it.
