I want to become religious but I am afraid since most of the religions warn me about eternal damnation if I worship false gods.

Which religion should I choose to join??

Only joining the Church of the Subgenius will guarantee you a seat on the Pleasure Saucers when the alien Xists attack the Earth. All other faiths (false) will suffer agonizing suffering and cry out, too late, for "Bob" to work a deal for them. But, it will be too late. For your own sake, join now and avoid the last minute lines.

Well the thing is, In most religions people believe if you don't worship their God you're going to hell. It is a tough choice to make but you should definetly do your research and find out what religion appeals to you. I suggest going into the major religions such as Christianity, Islam, and Judaism first and see if you find it appealing. I believe, however, that Islam is still the fastest growing religion in the world for a reason, even after what Islam has gone through for the past few years. I also suggest not talking to so-called religious people first. I suggest you read the Bible, Quran and Torah before talking to anyone and then make your decision.

Yes you will be burnt in hell eternally if you choose the wrong religion in line with God spoken in the holy Qur'an.God spoke that only Islam the best and right religion for all humans, becau
se Bible as a life guidance is out of date and no genuine anymore. So God replaced it with a complete, logic and uptodate life guidance that is the holy Qur'an which has been given by God through Muhammad pbuh prophet. You must choose to join Islam religion if you want a happy and safety life here in this world and in the life after death in heaven. As a non believer or the follower of other religion,if you convert to Islam and you become a muslim you will have no sin like a new born baby because God will forgive all of your old sins.
Your sin will be computed and recorded after you start your life as a muslim. You must obey to the insructions and prohibitions stated in the Qur'an in your daily life if you want to be in heaven. In the hadith Muhammad pbuh said that most of muslims/muslimahs who have great sins, will enter hell and they will be punished but they will be there only for a certain time not eternally. After certain time they were punished they will be brought to heaven.

The bible doesn't supports the idea of a hell fire at all.
This idea was invented by churches to scare people into blind submission.
In the past churches have taken away or discouraged people from reading the bible prevented people from knowing the truth on the matter.

So no , you will not burn in hell.....BUT.

But of course a person genuinely interested in God will choose the religion that fits in with what god requires , and not what religion that fits in with mans life and his desires.

Remember that God will not support people that cling to false teachings , doctrines or falsehoods.
Likewise he will not support or save people that outright worship false God's.

So your future IS dependent upon your choices in this matter.

No one knows the correct religion or even if there is one, but stay true to what you believe and I believe you will be rewarded in the end.

It's not what religion you choose but about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He said "no man can come to the Father but by Him".

no, there is no hell. Relax on that point, bc it is all made up.

I would read about various spiritual paths and see which one pulls you the strongest. investigate it, see what works best to fill your spiritual needs and make you the best person you can be!

And don't worry about hell, it was all just a story!

How Can You Find the True Religion?

Are all religions pleasing to God, or is just one? (1)
Why are there so many religions that claim to be Christian? (2)
How can you identify true Christians? (3-7)

1. Jesus started one true Christian religion. So today there must be just one body, or group, of true worshipers of Jehovah God. (John 4:23, 24; Ephesians 4:4, 5) The Bible teaches that only a few people are on the narrow road to life.—Matthew 7:13, 14.

2. The Bible foretold that after the death of the apostles, wrong teachings and unchristian practices would slowly come into the Christian congregation. Men would draw away believers to follow them instead of Christ. (Matthew 7:15, 21-23; Acts 20:29, 30) That is why we see so many different religions that claim to be Christian. How can we identify true Christians?

3. The most outstanding mark of true Christians is that they have real love among themselves. (John 13:34, 35) They are not taught to think that they are better than people of other races or skin color. Neither are they taught to hate people from other countries. (Acts 10:34, 35) So they do not share in wars. True Christians treat one another as brothers and sisters.—1 John 4:20, 21.

4. Another mark of true religion is that its members have a deep respect for the Bible. They accept it as the Word of God and believe what it says. (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) They treat God's Word as being more important than human ideas or customs. (Matthew 15:1-3, 7-9) They try to live by the Bible in their everyday life. So they do not preach one thing and then practice another.—Titus 1:15, 16.

True Christians love one another, respect the Bible, and preach about God's Kingdom

5. The true religion must also honor God's name. (Matthew 6:9) Jesus made God's name, Jehovah, known to others. True Christians must do the same. (John 17:6, 26; Romans 10:13, 14) Who are the people in your community that tell others about God's name?

6. True Christians must preach about God's Kingdom. Jesus did so. He always talked about the Kingdom. (Luke 8:1) He commanded his disciples to preach this same message in all the earth. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20) True Christians believe that only God's Kingdom will bring true peace and security to this earth.—Psalm 146:3-5.

7. Jesus' disciples must be no part of this wicked world. (John 17:16) They do not get involved in the world's political affairs and social controversies. They avoid the harmful conduct, practices, and attitudes that are common in the world. (James 1:27; 4:4) Can you identify a religious group in your community that has these marks of true Christianity?

What Really Is Hell?

WHATEVER image the word "hell" brings to your mind, hell is generally thought of as a place of punishment for sin. Concerning sin and its effect, the Bible says: "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." (Romans 5:12) The Scriptures also state: "The wages sin pays is death." (Romans 6:23) Since the punishment for sin is death, the fundamental question in determining the true nature of hell is: What happens to us when we die?

Does life of some kind, in some form, continue after death? What is hell, and what kind of people go there? Is there any hope for those in hell? The Bible gives truthful and satisfying answers to these questions.

Life After Death?
Does something inside us, like a soul or a spirit, survive the death of the body? Consider how the first man, Adam, came to have life. The Bible states: "Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life." (Genesis 2:7) Though breathing sustained his life, putting "the breath of life" into his nostrils involved much more than simply blowing air into his lungs. It meant that God put into Adam's lifeless body the spark of life—"the force of life," which is active in all earthly creatures. (Genesis 6:17; 7:22) The Bible refers to this animating force as "spirit." (James 2:26) That spirit can be compared to the electric current that activates a machine or an appliance and enables it to perform its function. Just as the current never takes on the features of the equipment it activates, the life-force does not take on any of the characteristics of the creatures it animates. It has no personality and no thinking ability.

What happens to the spirit when a person dies? Psalm 146:4 says: "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish." When a person dies, his impersonal spirit does not go on existing in another realm as a spirit creature. It "returns to the true God who gave it." (Ecclesiastes 12:7) This means that any hope of future life for that person now rests entirely with God.

The ancient Greek philosophers Socrates and Plato held that a soul inside a person survives death and never dies. What does the Bible teach about the soul? Adam "came to be a living soul," says Genesis 2:7. He did not receive a soul; he was a soul—a whole person. The Scriptures speak of a soul's doing work, craving food, being kidnapped, experiencing sleeplessness, and so forth. (Leviticus 23:30; Deuteronomy 12:20; 24:7; Psalm 119:28) Yes, man himself is a soul. When a person dies, that soul dies.—Ezekiel 18:4.

What, then, is the condition of the dead? When pronouncing sentence upon Adam, Jehovah stated: "Dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19) Where was Adam before God formed him from the dust of the ground and gave him life? Why, he simply did not exist! When he died, Adam returned to that state of complete absence of life. The condition of the dead is made clear at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, where we read: "The dead know nothing . . . In the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." (New International Version) Scripturally, death is a state of nonexistence. The dead have no awareness, no feelings, no thoughts.

This is not an auction. We are given senses to receive our information within. With our own eyes we see, and with our own skin we feel. With our intelligence, it is intended that we understand. But each person must puzzle it out for himself or herself.
