You didn't specify where in Cypress you were starting from so I am using Cypress College as a starting point.

You would board OC bus #42 at the NE corner of Lincoln/Valley View and travel to Norwalk/Carson.
There you would transfer to Long Beach bus #173 and travel to the Norwalk Green Line Station.
Board the Green Line Metro and travel to Aviation Blvd Station. There board the (free) "G" Shuttle to LAX

Try to arrive to Union Station by Metrolink and then take the Bus FlyAway direct to LAX...those buses are really nice and cheap; and make stops on every Lax terminal
Hope my answer help

I work at LAX. The best way is Supershuttle or Primetime Shuttle.
