Many "pillars of society" whose egos thrives on your respect and friendship, lead obscene, bizarre lives in secret. They relieve the guilt of their private demons by acting out their conspicuous "friend-of-society" roles, and public adulation frees them to stink deeper into their private hell. You would be horrified to know how sick many famous or even seemingly prominent figures in society and in the public eyes really are. Isn't that so ? Can this fact of life be exposed and change for the better if all good people don't speak up ?
Is it the time for you to make a stand by speaking up ?

Our society is really messed up. It's hard for me because it is so harsh. Before I was saved, I was right out there with the best/worst of them but now, I see. Now, I cry that not one Man among us is worthy. All I can do is what I can do. In my small little patch of this world. And that's what I do. Hipocrasy is the hardest thing for me to see - in myself and others. I would rather dig my front teeth out with a xatco knife before being a hipocrite. But still I do and I am.

This is a question about Pastor Ted Haggard, isn't it? I couldn't agree with you more. I can't stand those holier than thou hypocrites either.
Don't worry help is on the way- The Chicago-based victims advocate group Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP), which once called attention to Roman Catholic Church priest abuse, is now focusing on abusive ministers in the Southern Baptist Church.

How would you know anything about "many pillars of society" and their private lives? Maybe you have been watching too much TV again.

If they're not hurting anyone, then it's none of my business, and quite frankly, none of yours.
The decay of society is reflected in the concern other people have for things that are not their business. It is the prying into privacy that is the decay of society, not the harmless things that go on in private.

excellent question. I think we just have to look out for what we do! As individuals, we need to walk the straight and narrow. All those scum bag leaders who are secretly lusting after little boys will pay the price for their evil.
Follow the golden rule and things will be okay.

when you come to these realizations with your own parents, it's kinda hard to strike a nerve.
Youd be suprised by what wouldn't suprise or disgust me.

You must be talking about all those evangelists who've been caught selling meth and doing hookers. Yes, I think you should start speaking out against them.
