If by power you mean the sheer force and damaging capability of a single shot, then the Desert Eagle .50 calibar is the strongest. It is definitely not the most accurate. For close encounters it is awesome. There are some automatic handguns that are awesome too but I do not know what the models are called.

The barren region Eagle isn't very sensible and the .forty 4 magazine is merely too overpowered for homestead protection. except you're looking forward to a undergo to interrupt in. i might elect something like a 9mm, .forty S&W, .forty 5 ACP and maybe a .357 Magnum revolver. the .44 magnum was for a long time,then the .454,now the .50. My .44 still suits me,quality over quantity

Desert Eagle chambered for the .50 AE cartridge as far as I know.

some will say "Metal Storm" (up to or around 16000 9mm rounds per sec.) others say the .600 nitro express mag.

I heard awhile back that it was the .454 Casull but that was awhile back. I would think it would be the Desert eagle .50AE round now but I'm not sure.
