is it wrong for a sixth grader to go out with a freshman in high school??? my little sister wants to go out with this guy who is gona be a freshman and, I don't know what to tell her. He's a good kid, but I'm not sure if its wrong or not. He likes her and wants to ask her out. The grade difference is 3 years, but the age is only 2 and like one month. I dont know what to tell her. HELP!

but the maturation level is huge. Think of a one month old baby and a one year old baby, in only 11 months there are huge changes, the baby is up and walking by one year. It is not this big between those two, but on the other hand, there are a ton of life experiences learned in those 2 years. It isn't as if they are 25 and 27 as by then the changes that occur each year have leveled off.

The age difference won't be a problem if she's 16 and he's 18 but the fact is shes only 6th grade. Maybe your parents can explain to you little sister to wait till high school till she start dating high school kids.

If I found out my sixth grade daughter (yes, I do have one - she is sitting right here) was even THINKING about DATING, let alone someone in HIGH SCHOOL, she would be on restriction until she turned 15!!!! NO GIRL NEEDS TO BE GETTING SERIOUSLY ATTACHED TO ANY GUY AT THIS AGE - - Where are your parents??? Do THEY know about this??? Be a snitch and tell them before she gets in to some VERY serious trouble!

Your sister is too young. The boy can get into trouble as well. I would discourage her. Most freshman boys want only ONE thing and will prey on little girls that don't know any better. Do you want your sister to be one of those.
