I have always heard that more women go into labour and have their babies during the night, than during the day. So I'm wondering what time were your babies born??
Mine were !st; in labour from 6.30pm and delivered 2.20am (about 8hrs) and and 2nd was in labour about 9pm and delivered at 7.07am (about 10hrs) which fits the labour/delivery through the night theory?

First Daughter I went into labor at 10am and she was born at 2:24pm
Second daughter went into labor around 1:30pm she was born at 3:23pm
Son - went into labor at 2:45am and born at 3.13am

My baby was born at 4:12 am
When "real" labour started is not really clear. I started prelabour Sunday morning around 10 am -with contractions every 7 minutes. Contractions continued pretty much every 7 minutes right up to the end on Wednesday at 4:12 am

my first child i was induced 8 am and had him with forceps(ouch!)at 9pm a very long and hard labour,my second i was induced 8 am and had him 6pm(ps Friday 13th and yes he is a little nightmare still!)and my easiest no induction,labour started bout 7am and had her by 10.20am and she was my biggest baby at 10lbs9ounce.i guess your theory would be right if it takes an average 4-6 hours for a labour but you could say that for babies born during the day too,i think maybe it's if you have a quick labour or not.

Well I went in to the hospital at 7:00 am on the 3rd and had my son at 4:13 am on the 4th (a little over 21 hours of labor). So I guess I am against the norm here.

Went into labor at 3:45pm delivered a girl at 6:00pm.

Water broke at 1230 in the afternoon and they had me on the pitocin drip at about 530 that evening. He was born 537 am the next morning.

1st born at 4:05 am after 10 hours of labor (boy)
2nd delivered by c-section after 15-16 hours of labor (girl)

My first I labored from about 1am and delivered @ 11:17 am. My second I labored from 8pm and delivered at 9:55am.

I went into labor with my son at 10:45pm and gave birth at 4:35am, so I guess this fits your theory.

I'm a teen mom and my when I had my son I believe my soft contractions started around 8ish pm and I delivered at 10:42am. So thereya go, its true!
