This is a condition called jaundice that is caused by the hepatic organs of the body, either the liver, gall bladder, or a sepsis blood condition caused by a dangerous infection such as a hole in your appendix. Hepatitis can also cause these symptoms, so you need to get to the doctor. The liver produces too much bile and that is dumped into the blood stream. I have seen patients who have jaundice so badly, their scalp turned dark green from the bile in the blood.
And infants who have jaundice are usually premature and have too many red cells, not because of malnutrition in the womb.

That is very true and i know someone who used it and they saw a good result within a month of using it. Ginger has healing properties that get rid of wrinkles, and keep them from coming back. Ground some fresh ginger into a powder, about 1 tsp. will do. As ground ginger will be powdered and will not stick to the skin on its own, mix with a drop of honey to create a smooth, even paste that can be applied directly to under-eye wrinkles. Leave on for about 30 minutes each night, then rinse your face with cool water. After wrinkles have diminished, continue to use this home remedy once every two to three days to keep under-eye wrinkles at bay.

Actually, jaundice causes the whites of the eyes to turn a yellowish color. It does give the skin- all over a yellowish appearance as well. If it's just in those areas, not sure if that would still be considered "jaundice". Best bet is to see a dr. and get a "professional" opinion.

Well there are a lot of possibilities. Some of these have already been mentioned (cigarettes, liver problems, low iron, etc.). I suggest that you go to the Emergency Room and have a specialist have a look at this.

The problem you have may be linked to the liver, which usually develops problems after detoxicating your body at excessive levels. It is more commonly known as jaundis and can be treated fairly easy. Most newborn babies are diagnosed with jaundis because of malnutrition in the womb. I would see your doctor as soon as possible! Hope that helps!

Jennifer, sorry to tell you this but that is really serious-- it is called "jaundice" look it up on Webmd and it's caused by liver failure. If this is happening to you---get to a doctor ASAP and if it's someone you love and know, get them there and don't take no for an answer......jaundice and liver failure is common in people who are alcoholics....I hope this isn't the case for you....good luck to you.
