True love means be willing to put that person's happiness before your own. When you want the other person to have as much if not more than you. When you pray for them more than you do for yourself. When you wake up and your just thankful to be so blessed to have known that person regardless of what the outcome of the relationship ends up being.

Being in love is something only you can define and only you know for sure. You'll know.

A crush or infatuation is temporary, love last a lifetime. Even when the person is gone, you can still look bad and smile because you know God touch your life in a special way at that moment in time for whatever reason.

Well this might not be helpful at all, but I think that you can only find out if it was true love once you lose it! Because only in time will you see, if you still think about the person long after breaking up, you know it was more than a crush.
But I could be wrong!

you will know when your in love. I find it true that if you have to ask yourself are you in love and there's doubt, it's not love. A crush, you still barely know the person. There's different stages of love I suppose too. It's hard to explain, you have to feel it.

Crush: You just think he's good-looking or has a cute personality. But nothing more...like you would go out with him but you know you couldn't or you just dont want to.

Now love is whole different story..lol =]

Love: when you're in love...the person is on your mind ALL the time. when you see him/her, your heart jumps and you're filled with happiness. You love everything about him/her ((mostly everything)). His.her personality & looks & ect. You would do anything for dis person and dis person is special to you. You cherish them...and yeahh...i guess that pretty much covers it. lol

hope i helped<3 =]

You can absolutely trust yourself with that person in all situations. Things that you fear most in life, you are able to get through them with that person.

Every time you see that person, your heart skips a beat.

When you wake up in the morning, you can't wait to tell them about your dream.

You can't imagine your life with anyone else (well except for Ben Affleck but come on...he's freakin hot!).

I have to agree with Leah. True love is about caring for someone who makes you love yourself and want to share your life.

you'll know the difference... a crush is you are enfatuated with the eprson and in love you will eventually realize she isnt perfect but you still want to spend the rest of your life with her and be by her whenever something is wrong.... which i guess is the same for a crush so u gotta find it out for yourself, but in my experience in love you realize their faults and ove them for who they are.

When you care about someone without conditions and you place their welfare and well being above yours.

You see this person as your friend for life and someone who you share a deep connection with.
