This is an often misunderstood topic and is very important for a Christian to understand.
When Jesus was on earth one of his primary tasks was to offer himself as a sacrifice to redeem mankind from their sins.
Doing so allows God (who is the ultimate in Holiness) to be able to have a relationship with imperfect humans.
Without this sacrifice of Jesus we cannot pray to God.
He will not accept our prayers unless it is through Jesus , which acknowledges his sacrifice on our behalf.
Without this basis of relationship God would not be able to save us.
So this sacrifice had to be made and must stay made.
You are not allowed to take back a sacrifice after it is made.
So Jesus , who's physical body died over 2000 years ago is dead and must stay dead for the sacrifice to be upheld as valid.
The bible says that God after a short time raised , or resurected Jesus as a spirit creature for a life in heaven.
This does not take back the sacrifice that he made.
Religions that teach that he will return as a man again are simply wrong.
That would take back the sacrifice and return man to an alienated position before God.
This simply will not , and can not happen. !
Jesus is alive in the heavens and soon will act on behalf of every good and God fearing man.
But he is a spirit creature and always will be.

Both. When Jesus rose, he was in physical form. He is in heaven now, in physical form, until he will return to Earth in the Revelation. He is also spiritually alive, always.

Physically (and hence, spiritually as well). There would be no point to Christianity if Christ didn't rise from the dead. It's what the entire faith is based on.

BOTH! our LORD Jesus Christ took his glorified human body to heaven! Jesus Christ is both distinctly True God and True Man in one divine person since the incarnation. God bless.

In Sprit. He was in flesh and Spirit also. The Pastor made me reflect, He is in a raised or transformed body.

Yes, God Almighty raised Him to heavens without crucifying and He will be sent back to the earth before The Day of Judgment. He will join believers against non-believers and will kill Dajjal (The Anti-Christ).
