Come on! Can you actually believe that just because you have a special book that means that all the religions that ever existed now and before are all wrong and that the Christian god is the right one that we all should be following? Why is the christian god any different than other gods and religions? It doesn't make any sense. Please explain.

Their faith is extremist. They are 99% atheist. They say all religions are fake except for theirs, theirs being the Absolute Truth by their thinking. It's very illogical, Christianity and Islam are both extremist cults bent upon global conquest. Christianity is actually the worse of the two as many Christians pray for the world to end. They try to spread their Message as much as possible because, according to their beliefs, their Savior will return, causing the world to end, once everyone on Earth has heard their Message. This makes them a death cult. Once you understand this, they make much more sense. Their intolerance, bigotry, hatred, and war-loving ways fit right it with a death cult. It's truly scary that our culture is so inundated with the beliefs of this evil sect.

Jesus, the son of GOD, was the last sent here to earth trying to explain how to get into heaven. Christians have the most resent and compelling evidence, as so many were there. It was only 2000 years ago. Actual historic evidence proves people in the bible walked the earth, and these people ate, talked and walked with Jesus, so this helps.
Older religions probably had similar events but unwritten - lost to time, faded to myth. Any event older than 2000 years ago would be hard pressed to have living or written proof. India and China were also isolated from "known world" as the world was dominated from the Mediterranean sea countries. Egypt, Rome, Greece.
LOL, I can't explain, but I tried, it's so hard to weave all known planetary history into an answer about why Christians think GOD is GOD. No one knew of the Americas (except GOD) millions of people unknown. Africa blocked by desert? no, so why no influence. Allowing for technology anything older than 2000 years would be pretty isolated from "known world".

Sorry but we don't think we know that He is our God. We know He is. How do i know this for a fact? I believe what His Word says and am always striving to keep my relationship on going with Him. Great experience that can be yours if you choose too.
My God is different from any other gods. Mines is real, He is alive, His answers are on target, is always right and true. My God does not have to guess because He is all- knowing. And my God is not made up of wood, stone, and anything else man makes of their gods. My God talks where as other gods don't.
But there is a god of this world and his name is satan. Who wants a god that is going to take people to hell when the only True Living God will take His followers to Heaven to live with Him.
Read God's Word and try Him and see if He won't make Himself known to you? Great question.

It's all about belief and faith. If you believe in one religion you cant believe in another. There is some higher being but know one knows anything about him/her/them for sure. But we like to find something that we can believe in and choose it as the right decision. Christian are no different from any others. If your not a Christian than you probably dont believe in the Christian god. Just as Christians dont believe in any others god. You cant seriously believe as an athiest that there is no form of higher being. Something created the universe and something created whatever created it.

There are several religions that believe in one god. Christianity is different because its not the actions of man that get us into heaven, its by gods grace that we will. other religions are all about what man does to earn heaven. If their is a God, does not one have to be the one true religion? think about it

It's not the special book, but what's in the special book that helps Christians understand that there is a true God - our Father in Heaven.

Within the Bible, multiple people and prophets offer a witness to us and show us the example of how we can know for ourselves that we do have a Father in Heaven. From Adam to Noah. From Abraham to Joseph. From John the Baptist to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. From Elisabeth to Mary. To Jesus Christ.

People have given their lives for their belief in our Father in Heaven. Why would so many people do that if it were not true? None of them ever denied it.

In our time Joseph Smith gave his life for his beliefs and statements that our Father in Heaven appeared to him. Would it have been worth it if it were not true? He did not do it for the money. Mormon clergy is not paid. What would motivate anyone and certainly so many people?

We can all have have the same witness if we will pray and sincerely seek truth. We can know the truthfullness of what generations before us have had the opportunity to know if we will seek it out. No one can do it for you. Others can tell you how they've come to feel the influence of our Father in Heaven in their lives so you can benefit from their experience, but ultimately you have to make the choice to seek the knowledge and truth for yourself.

You refer to our Father in Heaven as the Christian God. He is not religion specific. We are all His literal children.

Almighty God is the ONLY true God.
Almighty God IS the God of Abraham, Issac, & Jacob.

In the beginning...God!
God was, is and always will be.
Almighty God does not change.
Almighty God does not lie.
The Holy Bible is the only absolute true testament/history of God, man, creation, life, Jesus Christ, and eternity. Earliest historical/geographical/scientific evidence only serves to confirm what Almighty God and Jesus Christ and the prophets and disciples of God related and/or prophesied of in The Holy Bible.

Of all the "man created or imagined gods", only Almighty God loved his creation enough to send his precious perfect son to Earth to live and teach and walk among mankind and then willingly offer up his perfect life as willing sacrifice for mankind's salvation.

Only Almighty God in the human form of Jesus Christ performed miracles of healing of any and all who asked it of him. Only Jesus Christ fed the multitudes of 5000 miraculously with a few fish and a few loaves of bread. Only Jesus Christ raised the dead, freed those who were demon-possessed, calmed raging storms with a word, walked on water, and was personally resurrected three days after He was murdered.

No "created or imagined" god from the beginning of time has ever done one of these, much less all of these in the presense of a multitude of people but for Almighty God and Jesus Christ.

Only Almighty God & Jesus Christ.

It not only makes Almighty God better than any other, it makes Almighty God unique, as no other has ever or will ever be able to do nor duplicate.

That is what I believe. I also have respect for all religions if they believe in a God other than my Christian God. I am not here to judge. I know there are many other religions and tolerant and respectful toward all faiths. Best to You!!!!

I'm not really going to answer, but I have another question to add on to that.

We say that "we believe in one true God, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things..." blah blah blah.

My idea is.... what if the God that some other religions worship is actually the same God with a different name?

Why does every persecute Christians? We're not much differerent from Jews or Muslims, so why dont you say something about them?

Look, God is real. I am not going to get all sappy and say it, I'm just saying it. What can it hurt to at least have a little faith in God.

Trust me, you'll know he's real. Wether or not you deny it. I'm not shoving my religion down your throat. You can make your own choice. But one day, you'll see his existance.
