I think there is a verse that says :"pray without ceasing over all things". I am a guilty party cause I don't pray as much as I should, but I used to pray for my future wife. I think she will soon be my wife and I can clearly see that it did some good. Now that you have brought this to my attention, which I do thank you for greatly, I think that I might just go ahead and humble myself again. I really appreciate your question I hope more people will chose to do the same.

Yes, I do pray for my future husband. Maybe not as often as I should, but I do. I pray that God will somehow set up a chance encounter with the man whom He has in store for me and I am always expecting that to happen every day. I am always finding myself wondering who this wonderful man will be and what he's like and what he's doing right now at this very moment. I also wonder if he's thinking about me and wondering who I am that is meant for him. I agree. It is a very cool thing to think about.

When I was a younger man, I wouldn't pray, but I would wonder and dream about it...I saw myself with a beautiful blond woman that would be super intelligent and be the sweetest most caring person on earth. I also saw us having three kids, two boys and one girl. I always thought that me always being at work, making tons of money for the family would be busy a lot of the time and the two brother could play together. My daughter would be with her mother, learning to be an intelligent and caring person just like her mom. Unfortunately, I married a Mexican girl, had no children and after 23 yrs of marriage, she wanted to be FREE, so she wanted a divorce. Is there a lesson to this? No, not really, Just always know that not all the time will your dreams, or prayers come true, but there is no law against doing it! So keep praying, keep dreaming, and perhaps they will come true for you! God bless and keep you always happy!

I do! I think it's a great thing to pray about. It's how my Aunt found her husband, guaranteed. They both prayed a lot to find the love of their life. They were randomly introduced by a mutual friend and fell in love right then and there. It can happen! Faith is a reeeeally powerful thing!

SWEET_STUFF-You said you don't pray, that you don't know how....Praying is simple...The best way to start is : You tell God the desires of your heart, your concerns for others and most importantly, how you feel about all God has provided for you, even if it's not much or if you're in hard and painful times..Cry out to him and he will hear you....First try to understand what faith is..
In the Bible is Hebrews 11:1~It tells us that FAITH assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see......Ask God to come into your heart and hear your prayers....He is there for everyone who believes!..He is our creator and our heavenly father!

I prayed for 7 years before he actually asked me...
He was at sea most of that time, and I prayed because
I wanted him to come back and ask me and not ask someone else..I prayed and waited patiently, willing to accept either way..If he had married someone else, I would still be praying that she would love him as much as I do..and that he would be happy with her, and have healthy children....<><..God Bless You!

I do when I feel blue or when it gets really hard but I know I should do it always. You have to believe in prayer from the bottom of your heart, then God will answer your efforts. And it is always beautiful. I will pray for you. I wish you will find your happiness as anybody else.

YES!!!

I pray daily for direction and understanding. Not only for the one that was meant for me but for myself. As we wonder through our lives we find many ups and downs. We find them in our selves and in others. We love, we smile. We hurt and we cry. All of these events are answers to our prayers.

I believe that everything yesterday prepares me for a better tomorrow. To me this is Gods answer to my prayers. Because of the yesterdays I can see the lessons, the answers and the blessings from my prayers. While they may not be the answers that we wanted they are what we ultimately needed.

Yes I do and I am 28. I pray that God leads her to me or me to her. That we can meet and get to know each other. I mean this may sound kinda crazy but I want to meet that special woman, who will love me and be with me. Who I can love and think the world of. I look forward to meeting her and falling in love and getting married. I am just praying that God will show me who and I hope it will not be to much longer.
