I get Figerhut magazines and I bought a Cobra DC 5500 and I dont know if that Cobra is bad camera or Fingerhut does not sell god merchadise. Now it takes good pictures outdoors but the pictures indoors aren't that great. I was thinking of getting a Canon Powershot or a Sony Cybershot. Should I do it I am on a fixed income.

When I think of Fingerhut, I think of knick-knacks and other small items for around the home. I don't think I'd use them as my supplier of consumer electronics. I've never heard of Cobra cameras, so I don't think it's a name-brand. I've owned a Canon for several years and have no complaints. The Sony is good, too. Both are a bit pricey, so if funds are limited, you might look elsewhere. Consumer Reports does a comparison of digital cameras about once a year, so that would be good source for you to check out. Or, if you see an ad for a cheap camera, do a search online and see what others think of the model.

By the way, no low end consumer camera is going to take great shots inside because of the small, cheap flash units that are on them.
