I have a large poster that I need to frame and have been looking around. The problem I'm having is that the only poster frames I've been able to find are all black or silver.
Walmart has poster frames for $10 to $20 dollars.
Hobby Lobby has about the same frames, but HObby Lobby usually has an online coupon for 40% off any one item, or they run sales in the frame departments, just to to their website and check out their sales ads. Same goes for Michael's.

I'm going to get one from Hobby Lobby and paint it the color that I want with metallic paints, since the black or silver will not work for me.

All depends what type of frame you want to use and if you are thinking to use a mat. Size also have a factor in the overall cost too. To frame a movie poster in a plastic frame doing it yourself it would be between 15.00 - 20.00 depending on your taste. However if you are looking to mat it then it could easily run you in the triple digits. Mats are very expensive.

When the economy gets back up the price of gold normally gets slaughtered with most other commodities. You sound like an overall beginner in the commodity markets. I would not recommend futures for you because they are very risky. I would suggest getting a book on commodity investing because it is very different from stock investing. There are certain styles of investing and a whole new vocabulary. I would say try any kind of consumer staple stock. They benefit from this downturn. Their advertising and transportation of goods is much cheaper now. So basically their expenses are lowered.

We didn't pay much for ours.
We went to Hobby Lobby and had it done around $10.
Call your local hobby shops to get a price.
