RUESTER. Don knotts was in the army. and no Mr. Rodgers was not a Marine. His tv show started in 1968. he did however have an adopted brother who was a Tuskegge airman.

I remember reading that she was.
Don Knotts was a Marine Corps Drill Instructor, that Mr. Rogers was some gung-ho marine, (think that was sniper, also). See what the Marines can take in and turn into men? Oh, lets not forget Lee Harvey Oswald, or that guy that shot people from a tower at some Texas college campus. I am not cracking on Marines. My dad was one and said he would kick my azz if i joined. So I went Airborne Infantry, and Ranger qualified. Just as good.

Articles claim that, but I dont think she was a Sniper in the Traditional sense of the word.

The Israeli Army back then didnt have a lot of Top Shelf gear. She Probably had a No.4 Mk.I(T) Enfield in .303, or a Kar98k with Zf41 in 7.92mm if lucky.

What actual Sniper or even Basic Marksmanship training she recieved is unknown at best
