I can't afford a locksmith (obviously, or I'd have a newer car lol) and I have to get them out tomorrow. I tried to break the wing window out with a hammer and towel when it first happened, but that thing won't budge. I'm sure a sledge hammer would do it, but now that I've calmed down, I'd like to avoid replacing a window if possible. Thanks!

Law enforcement officers usually carry a "jimmy" that can be used to unlock older model cars....you may have to sign a waiver saying if they f-up your car you won't sue...look up the non emeregency police # and give em a call....good luck....oh, and ya might want to get a spare made after this! lol

Call the police, they have a "Slim Jim" Which is a long metal device that they use to open a lock. Occassionally this can damage the seal on the door or window (rare but it happens). Be prepared, if you have an alarm it WILL go off when the officer opens your doors.

You would be surprised, locksmiths aren't that expensive. A whole lot cheaper than trying to replace a window or ripping up your weatherstripping. I think the last one, I heard about, it was something like $20. It took him less than 30 secs to get in the car. good luck.

Depending on where you live, some policemen will visit you for free to help. They have a "slim jim" thing that they slide between the rubber and the window. I had the help of a policeman once for this. He was done in less than two minutes. No charge.

well you could use a coat hanger or something that is flexible but stiff. also a flat blade screw driver and pry on the door at the top at a week spot. also if you can figure it out the black stuff around at the bottom part of the window will pop off fairly easily it just pops on and off pry it with a screw driver. also if you have your hanger handy search for the area of the lock or something you can pry on. try finding the lock and moving it. good luck.

the only way you can open those is with a slim jim,if you know someone who has one of these borrow it,or buy one at any parts store, this will allow you to go down in between the glass and the door and trip the lock, that will open it , a new one cost around 10 bucks, good luck on it.

Get triple AAA membership. Then call in the claim. It will cost less than the locksmith and you'll have coverage in the future. good luck

This is what i would do. rather than trying to get people to respond to my question, I would first and foremost get off the computer. Go get a wire hanger and you know the rest. Why i am telling you how to break into your own car. r u a cop?
