constrictions. I interned as an addictions counselor and a hospital social worker so I know you can't diagnose me, you're not liable, etc. I just want your informed opinion. What do you think a/b a woman who is 44, has depression, anxiety, migraines, IBS, exema, psoriasis, melasma, an ovarian cyst...basically a plethora of uncomfortable conditions but none life-threatening BUT...here's the wierd thing...I NEVER catch a virus or a cold or anything that's "going around". I take care of people who have a virus or a cold and I don't catch it. If I have taken care of someone who is sick (ok, like my boyfriend whom I've kissed, etc.) and do happen to catch a bit of the illness, it's just a very minor version of it, and I never need to go to the doc. I just use some OTC remedies and I'm better. I think that I have an overactive immune system (people think I'm lucky) but isn't that what leads to your own cells turning on you, as in cancer? Any medical opinions would be appreciated. Thanx.

Sue it is fortunate that you don't need to go to the doctor too often. No it does not suggest an over active immune system.

In general, I would suggest a physical exma once in 2-3 years for people less than 50 and once every year for people over 50 years of age, just so that you catch some of the medical problems before they manifest clinically, good luck
