Would someone please give me a crash course in putting license plates on a vehicle? I just bought a new car and I'm going to have to do it tomorrow.

I'm not sure about your state, but when we buy a new car, we only get a temporary plate until the permanent one arrives a couple of weeks later. When it does come, just take it to the dealer and they will put it on for you.

It is only 2 screws that will hold it, so if you want to do it, then fine, but they will do it for you as a courtesy for buying the car.

If you can't figure out how to put license plates on a car you really shouldn't be driving. Perhaps you should not even be allowed out in public by yourself.

You have to sit on the ground to do this----don't pick the hottest time of the day!
You might need pliers and a screwdriver to tighten everything up.
If there are not holes in your car bumper for the plate, if it's a new car, have the dealer guys put them on.
