Matthew 5:44 - "However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU"

Luke 6:27,28 - "'But I say to YOU who are listening, Continue to love YOUR enemies, to do good to those hating YOU, 28 to bless those cursing YOU, to pray for those who are insulting YOU.'"

Romans 12:17 - "Return evil for evil to no one."

Hope this helps.

Matthew 6: 39-45 pretty much gives what you said. Probably this is also the same in Luke 6:27-37. Good stuff!

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.'

Romans 12
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

That might not sound like it on the surface, but think about it. Have you never done wrong to another? All the wrath that you build up against another, did you ever give another the same wrath?

Have mercy, forgive, so that you will no longer carry around that resentment.

There are many...in both the old testament and the new...depending on your interpretation. If a man smites you...turn the other cheek...if a man steals your robe...give him your cloak as well..etc.

By my own interpretation, this does not mean that we are to simply stand by and allow people to walk all over us...but that we are not to hold a grudge against those that attempt to harm us. In otherwords...let God be their judge.

1 Peter 3:9
Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Romans 12:17
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.

Matthew 5 (part of)39-42

If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Matthew 18:20-22

20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"

22Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
