They cost the country because of NUMEROUS things. But what it comes down to is they are breaking the laws of this nation, and they need to realize that there isn't a reward for criminal behavior.
Our policy is not to negotiate with terrorists if they are committing a crime - we don't give them anything they are asking for. Why should we be entertaining these demands from these criminals????

Well around here (DC), the big killing yesterday (hit and run) was done by an illegal alien. And in Newark, NJ, those Black Students from Delaware were killed by an illegal alien, but I think we need more illegal aliens, diversity is good.

Some pay.. the vast majority don't. The net effect is a massive drain on our country.

Note that they do pay sales tax (whoop-de-do), but they usually don't pay income taxes.

They pay plenty of taxes. They also use public services, but so does everyone else. As a group, I think they are much more valuable to our society than US citizens of the same income level.

instead of illegals , try African Americans . and I'm not trying to offend anyone by this . but there is also many many , NOT ALL , African Americans who abuse the system and everyone seems to be OK with this . why ?
