an angel that fell from heaven
Luci-light
fer-carry (as in transfer)
My theory is:
he used to carry Gods light (or pressence) everywhere
then he thought he was the "ish" cause he was like the mirror of God to Spread his pressence
thought he was better than God, got followers and rebeled
then he was thrown down to earth
so that is why there is sin because no one can transfer the light everywhere, and there became dark places
but need jesus to get to God...
what do you think of my theory?

Satan is a beautiful Cherub angel that Jehovah GOD created in the heavens to take care of the earth. Because all angels have the ability to chose right from wrong just like humans he decided to rebell That's what the word Satan means, resister, rebel,
So he got thrown down to the vicinity of the eaeth along with other angels that decided on thier own to follow him.
The horns, pitchfork, fire, along with torment
in this fiery place was made up by the church back in 1610 when the King James Bible was translated to scare people into not leaving the church.
At EZEKIEL 28:13 Jehovah gives us a picture of what Satan looks like. As you can see he is one of the most beautiful angels ever created but his heart is bad and he completly goes against what God stands for. If you need any more information I would be happy to send you some.
Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

All I know is this - Satan came to me as an angel wrapped in light. In the form of a man who knew the word of God. Who actually planted the seeds that got me saved. Long story short - he was not who I thought he was and finally, finally after [7 years] much resistence from me - the Lord showed me who and what he really was. Satan comes in many guises. Mostly ones you are not expecting. If you see a guy dressed in a pitchfork outfit, it's probably not the real deal.

No, he's not a big red guy with horns and a pitchfork, that's just for Halloween.
Satan is a fallen angel, so I'm guessing he looks like a dark angel.
I'm guessing angels give off light and the Devil brings darkness.

1) Satan is a Angel of Light...
2) Angels can shape shift....so that means that Satan can shift-shape.
3) Only if shape-shifting into a big red guy like on South-park or something else would help Satan steal more souls...

In Ezekiel Chapter 28, you will find a very good description of Satan. This may surprise you, I will highlight a few.
He was the covering Cherub of God.
He was perfect in the day he was created.
He was perfect in beauty.
He fell as lightning. Luke 10:8 and 2 Cor: 11:14
So, would your appearance be changed after being struck with lightning and falling from the grace of your creator?

In Christian Lore, Satan is a fallen angel. How he came to be depicted red with horns is probably pulled from Pagan versions of Pan with red to represent Lust and Anger.

In the Bible Satan is called the Angel of Light...Quite beautiful.
But He can appear as you wish to see him, Satan the original liar and deceiver will choose what ever means to deceive you into believing that He is sort of a Harmless puke. That way you dis regard him, HE SNEAKS IN THE BACK DOOR. He WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You follow the Angel of Light, Not God the Almighty Father and His Son Jesus

Satan was called the Bright and Morning Star, he was one of the top Angels, so , whatever he looks like, so do the Angels of Heaven.

Well, the bible says he is half man half goat, that he is also a serpent and a multi-headed dragon. But most importantly he is an glorious angel. And under what the bible says he could turn into the Red Guy. Most of our notion of the devil and hell comes from Dante's Inferno not the bible, which is quite vague on the subject.
Note-Bible does not say angles are winged people.

He is the fallen angel of the most printed novel on a small planet called Earth. In it, the antagonist is a being that helps humans gain knowledge in which the protagonist subsequently punishes them for gaining.
