You need to talk to someone about your feelings. A family member perhaps? If you can't talk to someone in your family, make an appointment to see a therapist. Death hits people differently. Some people actually suffer nervous breakdowns, some go into severe depression. If you do talk to family members and that doesn't help, seek a doctor before it gets worse. I am sorry for your loss. I thought I was going to go crazy when my granny died, they had to pull me off of her at the funeral. Not a pretty picture.

I'm not a nurse but I have lost close family members (and friends) so I know what that's like. What would that family member say to you if you could talk to them? They would tell you not to be sad, and they would tell you to take care of the family for them now that they're gone.

I know it's really hard right now but hang in there and it will get better I promise. When my sister died I wrote a poem for her and it made me feel a little better. I read it at her funeral. Sometimes when I'm thinking of her I will go visit her grave and just sit there and talk to her, and cry my eyes out.

Don't forget, they're in heaven now so whenever you want to talk to them they can hear you. You have to accept the fact that they're in a better place now where no one can hurt them. I know my sister is better off in heaven than on life support in some creepy hospital.

You just have to keep going with your life and do the best you can. Make them proud.

Why a nurse what kind of advise could she give you that I or anyone else couldn't give you. You did not say how you lost your family member so I or anyone else would be guessing at this point and maybe giving you the wrong advise without knowing the details. In order to help you we need to know a little more hon.

Well, it it's any consolation, it was their time to go. Maybe they were suffering a lot and to put an end to it would be better for them. I guess God knew it was the end of their time. Think of it in that view.
