Yes! Vets are now doing a type of neutering where they give the animal a shot and it causes the testicles to basically dry up. Depending on when he was neutered, he may still be able to produce sperm. If it was done with the shot, when he was around 6 months old, you're probably safe. If it was done with the shot when he was older, there is a chance. The only way you can be completely sure is to check with your vet and find out what procedure was done. Best of luck!

If he was neutered recently (within 30 days) yes, he can still be potent that has been known to happen. I know of a case that she did have pups, but the male have just been neutered. We asked the vet about it and he said it can and does happen. If it's been longer than 30 days you're pretty safe. Sometimes a neutered male will do that to please the female. It is usually the female that begs for it. I have seen it with both dogs as well as cats. It's nature neutered or not. So hopefully if it's been a while for your male being neutered, then it was just safe sex. All the best;~)

If the male was neutered, his testicles were removed. There is NO WAY the female could be pregnant, unless she was mounted by a different dog.
Unlike human sterilization, where the male's epididymis is cut but the testicle is left inside the body, still possibly creating sperm, which can then swim from the teste to the other end of the epididymis, and be shot out during ejaculation, a dog's testicles are gone. NO SPERM WITHOUT TESTICLES.

NO! UNLESS the neutering was done within the past week. It happened with my son't min pin and one of my chihuahuas a few years ago. I had him neutered so this would not happen. When it did I asked my vet and he said, yes there would be live sperm for a few days afterward and if they tied, he could get her pregnant. My chi had pups 2 months after the tie.

properly, shall we sparkling away some terminology for you first. woman cats and canines are spayed and male cats and canines are neutered. while a woman cat or canines is spayed, the familiar practitioner (is meant to) get rid of the entire uterus and the two ovaries, leaving her vagina. She could have been "in warmth" on the time of the surgical treatment, or perhaps pregnant, yet as quickly as her reproductive organs are got rid of, her warmth cycle stops. while a male cat or canines is neutered, or castrated, the familiar practitioner eliminates the two testicles. He can now no longer make sperm, so he's unable to reproduce. i'm hoping this helps you!

No scrotum = no sperm = no pups. I've had several neutered males that would routinely get fast - the neutering fixes everything propaganda just doesn't tell you that this sort of thing can happen.

not if he's neutered. All vets rarely make mistakes in the neutering and spaying processes. But if you are concerned contact you vet.

if his testicles were removed more than about two weeks ago there is zero chance. If it was like a vasectomy where the tube is tied , there could be a failure there but its unlikely.

No. When they neuter him, they remove his testicles. He can still mate, but can't get her pregnant.
