You sound like you are responsible, but don't get over your head. Your 16 and when I was 16, I was too busy going to school, going to work, and socializing to ever have enough time for a bunch of dogs. I barely had time for the pets I already owned.....let alone a bunch of foster dogs. Make sure you truly have the time to be commited. Plus, what about college, you sound smart and college is right around the corner for you I'm sure. Who's supposed to take care of all the foster dog's while your in college? And don't be so sure you can find good homes for all of them, before you start. Finding good lifetime homes for pets is harder than you think!! I'm not saying not to do it, but plz take everything into consideration, and realize there is a big difference in owning 1 dog and caring for however many you are planning to care for. Plus it can get expensive, I'm sure you only work a part time job, and vet bills are so expensive!! How are you going to afford vet bills for all these dogs? Keep in mind rescued dogs are usually in need of medical attention, grooming, flea preventative, de-worming, etc. Hope this helps!

I don't think its immature at all, I think that its a big step into "adult-hood" but you have to make sure that before you take on a HUGE responsibility like that, you should make sure that is what you want to do. What about while you are at work or school? Who will take care of the inevitable messes that they will create and need to be taken care of? As a parent, and an animal lover, I can see both sides. Your parents probably don't want the responsibility of keeping up with your job while you are unable. Teenagers are easily bored after a while, that's not to say you are, just the majority. Love of animals doesn't always mean that it's the right move for you, to foster them. If you can sway them and get them to help you, I wish you the very best of luck, just keep in mind, you are very young and have a lot ahead of you. It's not always best for you, to tie yourself down with something you can't get away from. It takes a lot of commitment. Best of luck to you though.

Well just talk to your parents about it. They may say no, but then they may say yes. Anyway i would suggest trying to work at an animal shelter or vet office. At least volunteer.
But you need to understand that even though you already have one dog, your house may not be suited to take on more animals. So until that is done your parents will countine to say no. Also need to have the money to take care of these dogs while you have them, which is another reason you parents may say no.

Awwww Puppies!
I think you'll be a great foster parent for the puppies by what way you describe you and your dog now!
Tell your parents what you just told us about your puppy and show them how responsible you really are.
Start earning money and show them that you can afford this becasue it wont be cheap!
Hope it Helps<3

do your parents like dogs? tell them why you want to do this. it is a very big committment and it is not something you can just quit if it becomes a pain to do, it is like becoming a parent, you cant just walk away because you are tired of picking up dog poop. you cant just go be with your friends and leave it up to mom and dad to take care of.
if you feel you are willing to give up your own social life to do this then talk to your parents about it. just let them know what you are willing to do.
you have to be sure dog is fed and has water and the poop is picked up and you need to give dog his meds and dr appts and baths and playtime and walks (even in the rain and snow) still interested?

attempt to tell them with reference to the coolest aspects of fostering. you are able to look it up, tell them approximately how responsible you may properly be.. Its important to foster dogs, fairly from kill shelters. Its continuously advantageous to offer dogs of venture. wish you are able to foster, good luck!

Recite the following to your parents:
Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And Id like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you how I became the prince of a town called bel-air
In west philadelfia born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys said were up in no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said youre moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air
(only the first three episodes of season one)
I begged and pleaded with her the other day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She gave me a kissin and she gave me my ticket
I put my walkman on and said I might aswell kick it
First class, yo this is bad,
Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass
Is this what the people of bel-air livin like,
Hmm this might be alright!
I whistled for a cab and when it came near the
Licensplate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air
I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air
