You need not worry, except that you will eat everything that is served, you will refuse nothing, and you will throw away nothing. Those are the rules, and you will abide by them, that is, if you ever hope to see graduation day ! This is how it works once you are on board.
In the meantime, you can start weening yourself of sugary products, Once on board, there will be very little sugar in your diet.

Not a big deal really, eat what you like, but good to get some protein on board but if you have to much in your system you will just overwork your kidneys slightly, cabs the last few days before you report as a source of ready energy. Of course antioxidants in the form of vegetables.
They will feed you a bland diet of pretty poor quality food (at least they used to) but it is more than sufficient if they let you eat all that is served to you. They often like to rush you, so you might consider stretching your gut before you report if you are afraid that you will have trouble eating quickly. A good method to do that is to drink extra water with your meals and to eat bulky things like oatmeal. I would usually not recommend a lot of water with meals it is usually best to drink a half hour before meals and an hour after. It is not in the corps best interest to underfeed you in the long run. If you are substantially overweight however you are in for a very tough time, they will make you loose weight rapidly. You would do better to join another branch, in fact there are many, many reasons to join another branch.
Good luck you are in for a tough time on many levels. The best advice I could give is to start toughening up your feet, ware bad boots with wool socks to give you tough skin, alchool rubs will harden the bottoms of your feet, do not show up with blisters though, they will become much worse in the first few weeks.
I used to run recruit sick call at MCRD San Diego, worked as an ambulance crew chief and in the emergency room. Was Navy but served 2 years with the Marines. My sympathies to you.

Three very large meals a day. Trust me though make sure you REALLY want to do it. I got a med discharge on Training day 61 of 70.

Practice eating chili-mac. You will be eating that every day for 13 weeks. The 2nd Battalion Chow Hall always had chili-mac. You will learn to hate that. That and "veal cutlets". Those are basicly fried patties that they serve when they are running low on chili-mac. They claim they are veal, but they are really just cows that got sick and died young, instead of cows that died of old age (military beef). To this day, I don't eat chili-mac, it has stuck with me for 10 years.
