Chaotic weather would be prevalent (Luke 21:25-26).

Jesus foresaw the seas and the waves roaring in the last days. He also likened these signs to birth pangs (Matthew 24:8). The Greek word odin, often translated as sorrows in Matthew 24:8, literally means birth pangs. Furthermore, the apostle Paul reminded us that the creation itself will be delivered from the curse at the end of the age (Romans 8:21). And that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs (Romans 8:22). As delivery draws near, birth pangs always increase in both intensity and frequency. Therefore, the creation itself would travail as the time of delivery draws near. Of course chaotic weather is not new, but there are indications that we are witnessing an increase in strange weather. (Global warming anyone?)

Luke 21:25 sounds like the effects of a pole shift.

How can you say we're witnessing an increase in strange weather? What is your frame of reference? Over the last 20 centuries we've had little ice ages and droughts and floods and earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and worse. Only now are we able to understand the science of what is happening.

Did not Jesus say to not try to predict the day of the end?

le hibou sage, I agree with you on all counts, although I don't believe in global warming. I consider it a global WARNING, an act of God. I don't believe that anything we do to 'conserve' is going to do a thing to help. All we can do to stop this and/or slow this down is to turn to God, but sadly, I don't see that happening.

In response to all the 'free thinkers' out there, here's something that proves the times we live in.

2 Peter 3:3-4 (KJV) You wanna know what it says? Look it up for yourself.

And if you still 'scoff', you do an excellent job fulfilling this prophecy.

Thank you . And I hope that others will seek even further to learn that what you just posted is only the tip of the iceberg .
There are so many floods in the world right now , that I'd like to find a source that highlights all the world's current floods .

Then there's the wildfires , Terrorism , glaciers melting , and the Lord said that the world would also be in a 'state of confusion'. . . . Welcome to that 'state' .

Interesting concept and one that I myself have also wondered about as to how (if at all) it relates to the end times.

No one really knows for sure...but I suspect that man's own actions will be the means by which God will see his prophecies come true. He knows us all only to well.

oh yeah, the question: yes i deny that the bible is the word of god.

Hey guess what? On Dec 21 2012 the earth is going to pass into a new age. Global warming is being caused by the gravitational forces of our North and South poles about to shift. It happened 25,000 years ago, and its going to happen again. The forces are going to shift the planet. I have a feeling that the oil in the earth is supposed to make this a smooth transition, but since we are draining that we are making it much much worse.

Stick that in your bible and burn it.

Is there nothing but this book for you characters? Do you never take a look outside your sheltered religion and see what is going on in your universe? I almost think your type are hopeless.

That's garbage. Any thinking person knows that Waldo wrote that comic book you call a bible while on his coffee break from his job as a rickshaw driver in downtown Jakarta.
