You know the Holy Spirit, does He tell you it's wrong? Paul wrote that all things are now lawfull, but not all things are profitable. In this perspective, I would say that for any man, it is more profitable to deny himself temporary gratification. It builds strength and character, which leads to hope. Also, we do not know what God's plan for our lives are, only that we should treat each other in respect and love through Jesus. If he respects you and you understand his motives... if the Holy Spirit is not convicting either of you and if he is a man of self-control, then God may approve. The only way I can imagine the things he's doing, however, does not seem appropriate for a boyfriend.

yeah - it isn't a good thing. well - not just the simple touch on your butt or chest, but what it can lead to.

it's sorta like this - once you think that it's okay to touch private areas, then that makes going to the next step easier. that is why it is a bad idea - because you will want to do more and more.

it would be really cool if you two could agree to only go out on double dates with another couple. if the other couple are both christians, the four of you can talk AND maybe help each other avoid temptation. you and your boyfriend will be less likely to touch each other if there is another couple around.

The bible is very specific when God warns us not to even look on a woman with lustful thoughts for in so doing, he has already committed adultery in his heart and God looks on our hearts to detect if we are walking the talk or just talking. Living as God directs or faking it so he knows your thoughts about women and Christian ladies, if you dress in a way to attract attention to your bodies, you are sinning against God. Proverbs tells us how we are to live, act and behaive.

A young man told me he had kissed a girl several times but it never went any farther. When I showed him the scripture verse about what I stated above, he was instantly convicted of sin and asked God to forgive him and God did because He knew the man was deeply sorry and meant the need for forgiveness.

What made this situation so volitile is that the guy was married!

Everyone has different standards of what is acceptable in a relationship, and the Bible doesn't say much on the topic other than not to commit fornication...but people also disagree on the meaning of fornication. Make sure you are comfortable and don't get forced to do anything you don't want to do. Talk to your boyfriend about what you each want.

hahahaha funny q. yes I think so on some level, or no, as for a Christian I know fornication would be a sin. Heck my xian hubby has sinned prior to our marriage :-)

God said to be fruitful and multiply. Just don't sin. Now it is pretty natural for such things to happen, make sure that your relationship is solid and above board in the sight of God before you do any more. Lying and sneaking around would be the worst thing. Trust me.

Dear popsi,

i think the simple answer is: Yes. But my suggestion to you is to find your answer from God's word and not just to get everybody's opinion on the matter.

As a Christian both you and your boyfriend have the Holy Spirit living inside of you to guide and direct you. There are also books on purity you can find in your local Chrisitan bookstore- or Christians at your churches that you can talk to who can give you a solid Biblical basis.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

It's only sin if YOU think it''s sin. It all depends on your own belief system. But why do you think god made things feel good? If it's only for making babies, it really wouldn't need to feel especially good.
