Hello friend,
My goal is to get people into the Word of God for themselves. So, if you are truly interested, go read Matthew 18:10 and come back with an opinion.

This does not imply that they are at the bidding of humans.
Also read Hebrews 1:7-14 for back up.

Good question!

Not that I know of but it does say in 2 thessalonians 2:15, to hold fast to traditions, weather oral or by letter. Guardian angels are an oral tradition.

Personal guardian angels?!? No, not in the bible nor in any of the none biblical I read as yet. That concept would be of the imagination of the poets, much like fairies being cute and having rainbow wings.

Concepts do change over time.

No, I don't think so. But angels are God's helpers. God is our gaurdian, not exactly an individual angel. Hollywood has distort a lot of facts about God.

"Tolerance" is right. There is that verse.

There are angels mentioned in the book of Enoch. It tells of their mission and their names. There are guards too. I don't think personal ones are mentioned there as I recall.

Yes it does. I don't remember which verse it is, but it says that everyone has a guardian angel.

yes.

they are helpers:

"The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence." - Genesis 24:7.

"But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" - Hebrews 1:13,14.

they are protectors:

"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." - Psalm 91:11.

"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 18:10.

They aided the apostles:

"But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said, Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life." - Acts 5:19,20.

"And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert." - Acts 8:26.
