Im thinking of getting myself a shizu or maybe a chihuahua,i love chihuahuas but they can get too hyper at times and bark alot.

Beagles are pretty hyper as they're hound dogs. Shih Tzus might be a good choice.
The Papillon is often considered the smartest/most trainable toy breed. Abbyful has a puppy that is adorable - she could probably tell you lots more about Papillons. They do require grooming, but they're adorable (they were bred from spaniels) and very smart.

I had a toy poodle. She was easy to train and was a very loving dog. Downside is that they need to be groomed regularly.

a shetland sheep dog is a FAB. choice! just mind that they require lots of brushing

Pug sounds good,I don't think they bark very much.

beagle but why not a shelter dog. they need a home too.

cocker spaniels are easy to train! they love to please, the down side is they require grooming!
