I bought the John Daly SA95 complete set from Academy for $225. The driver is a 460cc in weight, but I cant find the loft anywhere on it. Im looking to upgrade my driver and buy one with a higher loft,b/c i need a more "forgiving" driver. The only problem is, I dont know what loft this one is, so how can I possilby know how much more of a loft I need, to know that Im buying an upgrade and not a downgrade ? Also, keep in mind, im buying my new driver on ebay, thats why I cant just take mine to a store and compare. I was just wondering if anyone out there, may have the same set, or is just familiar with this set.

Go to a golf store and try several different drivers on a launch monitor. The data will indicate what loft and shaft you hit the best. Just because you try them does not mean you have to buy one there. That way the loft of your current driver is of no consequence

I think you are probably trying to save money which is why you are buying on E Bay. I don't blame you because I have several times. But, the information you provided is not good information. That is why you should go to a local specialty golf shop and get the right things the first time. You will improve and may have to buy more in the future, but not because you got the wrong stuff. Also don't skimp on lessons--a $50 lesson will improve your game more than a $400 driver.

the 460cc is a measurement of size (volume in Cubic Centimeters) and not weight.

I've looked at several site, none of them list the loft. The best way to know the loft you need is to go to a good golf store (Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy) and use their swing monitor.
