Should girls have short hair?

My mom just recently took my little sister to get her hair cut. They came back and almost all of her hair was gone. I think it looks just fine on her, but the boys down the street make fun of her all the time. So I want to know, even though they get made fun of sometimes... should girls cut their hair short??

I see girls with long hair and I can't stand it at times because I know that they would suit short hair.
I'm aware that boys/guys tend to pick on girls with short hair. But its because they have nothing better to say and they're most likely lost for words lol. Or there just being idiots.

Long hair doesn't ALWAYS have to mean sexy.
Short, shaggy, surfy hair can also be sexy.

If you can carry it off go for it. :D

I think short hair is fine. At a really young age, I'm not sure how young she is though...it could be tough for her. The boys think pretty is having long hair. As an adult, women with great faces and/or great confidence can pull off the short look. It's not for everybody..for those who can work it.

properly, no one can relatively say, short human beings could have short hair, tall human beings could have long hair, because of the fact distinctive hairstyles healthful distinctive human beings. in my opinion, i think of that while you're short, a shorter hairstyle could make you look taller. i hit upon that long hair overpowers a petite woman's determine, and makes them look even shorter. Shoulder length hair could be a brilliant determination for you, in case you do no longer like it to short or too long. :)

I think it's okay long as she doesn't get mistaken as a boy because I have seen little girls with there hair cut like boys.

I think that short hair on a girl can be cute! Even if they aren't a tomboy. The whole pixie haircut is adorable, plus it can make you look skinnier if you have the right body type. :]

i love the way some girls look with short hair. but it mostly depends on the hair style when its short.

i like long hair and recently i got my hair cut from the middle of my back to my shoulder and everyone says it wayy to short even tho its much longer than some pplssoim trying my best to grow it out

depends on the girl..some people just look better with longer hair..but i just recently got my hair cut really short..and it was the biggest mistake ever. so i'd pick long hair over short

for some girls it looks good on them but for others it looks horrible. i'd say if a girl wants to have short hair ot go for it.

From an older guys perspective, I think that girls look much better with long hair. Unless it is for a medical reason or if it is necessary for their jobs or for something like athletics.

I hate it that girls want so much to look like guys now-a-days, but if a boy wants to look or dress like a girl he is immediately labeled a gay, but when the girl wants to look and/or dress like a guy all is fine and dandy.

Of course, this is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
