I think it may be because Christians are so caught up in the Religion and doctrine that they loose sight of what they are supposed to stand for---LOVE----Blessings!

I've asked the same thing here, every now and then, in several different ways ... and I get pretty much the same responses you're getting. Including those who take this particular opportunity to re-state, AGAIN, why they think another "tribe" is wrong. Talk about not getting the point of the question.

Sure makes Christianity look appealing to the rest of the world, doesn't it? I know I certainly took into consideration when I converted to Catholicism how enjoyable it would be to have my beliefs attacked by those I call brothers ...

... not so much, really.

Kinda sad, isn't it? But it's been going on for quite a long time and will doubtless continue right up to the time the Lord comes again.

In the first place, we are not tribes....and we do not belittle,,we point out why we think they are wrong in their doctrine. Most Christians will use Scripture to back up what they say. All of us are looking for the truth.. but anyone who does not believe that Jesus is our Savior is not a Christian...which JWs,.Muslims and Mormons do not. Most Jews do not claim to be Christian so we have no battle with them..

Catholics are Christians but they adhere to a whole lot of things that are not in the Bible...if you ask them why, they say it is just tradition...they need to read their Bible more and talk to their Priest less...And where they get that the Pope is God's head here on Earth is just very wrong..It is Jesus....he is alive and well, and does not need a stand-in....

I don't believe in condemning anyone. That is the business of God. However, I do believe that there is truth and there is error.

Jesus warned about false prophets and false religious systems. He was very clear to warn us; and he requires that I warn others and to adhere strictly to his word in my life.

Roman Catholicism is a ritualistic human-altered form of Christianity. A system of traditions which has forgotten the Bible.

JW and their "society" is an even worse adulterated system; a group that follows a translation of the Bible by a man who never actually learned to read or translate Greek.

Mormonism is based in a different book entirely; plagiarized from a fiction novel, ultimately written by a man without even a high-school education. Written to "look" like Elizabethan English, because it was the tongue of religion in his day.

As for the debates within the many brands of Christianity, mostly we're defining whether to follow the Bible or man's tradition.

I try to follow the Bible. Jesus said to do it, and so did the Apostles. Since he rose from the dead, and they were willing to be tortured and die to claim they had seen him do it - I pay particular attention to them.

I do not ridicule; that would be wrong. I do work to correct false teaching and false doctrine when I see it. All in an attitude of love.

If anyone does it differently, then they are accountable to God.

A lot of this is done our of ignorant, fear or just plain malicious. Every Christian should know that we do not condemn anyone, that is not our place. We are speak the truth in love considering ourselves. Some religious doctrines are indeed incorrect, when making correction we are too have compassion and show mercy through love. Never beat down, or condemn but let our yea be yea and our nay be nay.

I would like to put it in a different perspective. As baptists, we usually stick to the bible. Most religions don't. They rather follow their man-made doctrines and traditions. I'm not mad at them, that's not my concern. My concern is there salvation. If they worship and believe a different Jesus then they are in danger.

Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

If most of the so-called christians are not preaching the truth of the Gospel like jw, mormons, 7th day adventists, catholics, then they are in danger of eternal damnation.
And I do not want that to happen to them. Especially to those who belong to a non-christian religion like buddhists, muslims, etc.

If they don't preach that salvation is only through Jesus Christ then they're in danger as well.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

To God be the Glory! Forever and ever! Amen.

Well first, we shouldn't put down anyone. But second, there is only one way to be saved. Plus, the meaning of "Christian" might mean something different to you. JW's, Mormans, Catholics and fundamental Christians have different doctrines and are not the same.

I don't see much put-down - but then maybe I missed some of the malicious posts you saw.

I do not see it as a put-down when a person states his//her belief that another belief is non-Christian. Of course it can be done in a mean way, which is inappropriate.

Simple minds do like to see life as simple.

whilst Christians are to shelter the religion, (which many mistake as attacking others) we are to income and by ability of examining, we are able to respond to questions given to us by ability of others, the hot babes in Christ, people who have no concept, etc. In Isaiah He advised the persons to appreciate the king, evil nonetheless the bible calls him an evil king, we are all made in in basic terms like God and that on my own demands appreciate for others, yet its sparkling that that's no longer the prepare of Christians or many that declare the identify, yet scripture tells us that by ability of our end result we are general, for this reason they convey the call of Christ in ineffective. we are to instruct, superb, witness and share the sturdy information, and the warnings for that rely to those that isn't pay attention sound words. Christ is love, and we are to be like Christ, that's the factor of "Christ"ian. The bible does let us know that for the duration of the tip days that the affection of Christians could run chilly, and we do surely see that being the case. even nonetheless it certainly might nicely be executed in Love, and with persistence. In Christ brings divisions, and till he returns the denominations will proceed, in basic terms in Christ will we've cohesion, and all of us understand for particular while He turns we are able to have precisely that. This evil called denominations would be not extra. consistent with probability some do no longer take the bible severe while it warns approximately making a sparkling individual in Christ stumble, that could desire to that no longer comprise by ability of belittling and making others run from it additionally, if any of those ensue to be solid into the lake of fireplace, the very comparable could have their blood on their hands to account for. The bible says in case you hate your brother then it calls that individual a assassin, and all of us understand the actuality of those if unrepented. i've got self assurance that those persons want prayer, so as that God will circulate upon their hearts to this hateful element that they do, considering many will pay attention. God Bless you.
