LMAO!!!!

I can assure you there is no conspiracy.... eye care professionals are not friggin scientists conducting genetic DNA research..... Since refractive errors are mainly found to be genetic...
Scientists need to find out what exactly causes people genetically susceptible to develop certain refractive errors. Its kinda hard to cure something that is not even fully understood....

There is no magical cure for refractive errors.... I assure you that no one is trying to stop a cure from being discovered!

If a scientific researcher goes and makes a request to the main federation who funds his college/university and says: "Yes, I believe I can solve and then cure all the eye problems of humanity if you guys just fund my research program, it requires that I dedicate all my time to conducting intricate laboratory tests."
Do you really think their going to fund that if it potentially threatens the multi-billion dollar per year profits they rack on up from all the sheep who buy glasses every damn year???
HELL NO!!! There not gonna do it. Big Business is all about Big Profit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If only someone would invent a way to use lasers to correct a person's vision permanently.

That's absurd. I suppose though that one day corrective vision surgery (some advanced form of lasix) will become routine.

nope. I get disposable contacts, and they are pretty cheap, and work a lot better than glasses.

Right. Would you tell someone with multiple sclerosis that they just need to work on their muscles more?
