i have a vacuum i dont use and i want to use the motor to build something, any ideas?

What about a levitating platform that you can use to move heavy things around your house. It is like a hovercraft for land use.

You just blow the vacuum's exhaust stream out of a grid of holes near the ground and the air will raise the platform (probably needs a hovercraft-style skirt at base to make it more efficient).

Use it to inflate home made hot air balloons using garbage bags - send mysterious & thought provoking messages all over real space! ("If found please return to G.W. Bush c/- the Whitehouse...." etc.)
Or smurfs...
