If a person has a green card and citizenship was denied, chances are that person is a criminal and is going to be deported, hope the process doesn't take to long, and you will pay child support the other side.

that's an interesting question. is the mother an american citizen ? and the person who was denied citizenship is not ?
i would say that she can get an order for child support , but that collecting it will be difficult. there is no us wage to attach.
since the person is not a us citizen, it probably won't mean they can send them to jail ? not sure .. good question for an attorney to answer.
does the non citizen have a drivers license ? sometimes they suspend licenses for "deadbeat dads" in some places. not sure if that would be an impact or not.
obviously, if the person who is non citizen goes back to their country, it would be difficult to collect child support.
regardless of what the court tells you ... if two people make a baby , two people need to be supporting the baby. regardless of the citizenship of either of them.
Agree ?
If unsure of paternity, then get a test done to know for sure.

I would be surprised if you didn't. Let me make sure I understand the question you are asking. You enjoyed yourself one night (or day) and produced a child. You have decided you do not want the responsibility of raising the child, so you dump the mother and the child. Finally, you decide it is to difficult to help suppliment the mothers income so now you want to cut that off to, after all, the tax payers will pay for your mistake for you. Prob is you are the daddy and you are told you need to make the payments so you are looking for ANY way out. You figure people don't like illegals, so they may support you. Sorry charlie, but if she has a green card she is legally here.
Is that right?

If there is a court order requiring child support, then citizenship & residence of the child's guardian don't matter unless specified in the court order. This includes support agreements that are part of Separation or Divorce/Annulment proceedings.
The parent who is supposed to receive support can sue in the country of residence of the one who is supposed to pay support to enforce a valid court order.
Once it goes international the lawyers love it. They earn a lot of money when you need to ask the courts to enforce an order across national borders.

if the person paying child support is an American citizen yes they still have to pay support that was ordered in a US court.
If the person paying is not a US citizen and is about to be placed in deportation proceedings or leaves the country you will play with fire and can't force them to pay child support nor can they probably afford to do so if they return to their country. So if you were the cause of them being deported don't expect to get the support or that they will be jailed if they can't pay you from their home country.

It's not about citizenship; it's about supporting a child. Do the right thing and support the child.
