Best decision of his life!

2007-08-14 13:48:25 · answer #1 · answered by Sudman M 2 · 5 3

I think he and his sister just wanted the money. Remember the good old days when he just wanted a contract like all the other drivers--well, until he was like the other drivers. Then he wasn't happy having "some" stock in the company,no he had to have it all. Remember in his book, how he said he would never forget how Teresa was their rock when their father died and he would never forget she was the one there for him when he was a boy--how Teresa and his father built DEI and he had no part in it so of course it belonged to her--boy he has a short memory!! He is so whiny now that I can't stand him and really am embarrassed that I once cheered for him. I hope the chase is soon over and Teresa kicks him to the curb and he and his greedy sister can watch year after year go by with no championship.

easily he ought to leave, DEI is not any a similar business enterprise his father geared up with Theresa Earnhardt on the helm. Jr is the main universal driving force in Nascar and the followers desire to work out him run greater useful on a persevering with foundation, win races, and win championships and regrettably that merely wont ensue with DEI. Theresa seems to be fairly happy with Jr as long as he sells alot of shirts and hats and places income her wallet. She does not seem to care too plenty relating to the component of racing that incredibly concerns and that's to win. Jr ought to easily seem someplace else for somebody who will take his occupation to new heights rather of dropping time at a diminishing racing good.

I was a little shocked at first, but I know he`s going to be with team that can and will supply him with some of the best equipment in NASCAR. I also think his step mother should have worked out a deal with him. If his dad were still alive I know things would have been handled a lot differently. I support Dale Jr. in this hard decision and am still a big fan of his. NASCAR rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was one of the best decisions that he's made. Although it is really SAD for him to leave his "FAMILY" business that his father and grandfather built, it was the best move for HIM.
His dad would be proud that he stood up for what was rightfully his. Since the EVIL stepmother wasn't gonna budge, he did what he had to do. I think it was also a good for him to NOT to go to Childress. He needs to cut all ties with what his dad's legacy was and start his own. He is headed in the right direction.
Think about it, he's doing better now that he has that "LOAD" off of his shoulders, knowing that he doesn't have to deal with her much longer!!! Truex is the only thing that will keep DEI afloat. And Mark Martin, if he continues to race.

it's a shame that jr is leaving his daddy's company, but he knows what he wants. he wanted DEI and teressa wasn't about to let him have it. so he moved, fortunately he's goin to hendrick and he's goin to be better off. now the questions are who will sponsor him and what number would he drive. it's a tough lost for DEI, but a gain for HMS. bud was goin to sponsor but hendrick has another sponsor so bud cant be on jrs car. so basically . . . .

Bad for Bud, DEI, and the #8
Good for HMS and Dale Jr.

I gotta tell you, Teresa was the BRAINS behind DEI, Dale
was the greatest driver who ever lived, but TERESA made him famous AND rich.
I don't like Jr leaving DEI, but all this hatred toward Teresa
is stupid, its HER company, she built it, she earned it.

And hotdamm, she is a FOX!!

His step-mother should have worked harder to keep him there. Dale Sr. would never have let things deteriorate like Teresa did. She forgot who got her where she is today and threw away the man's children like last week's garbage!

I think it was a good decision on his part but it was crazy that they just wouldn't give him majority ownership. DEI is nothing without Jr.

I'm looking forward to the great things yet to come for him. I'm not a true blue Little E fan, but I give him props for blazing his own trail and moving further from his fathers legendary shadow. I think he could have a championship within the next 3 years.
