What is easier to believe in; God or Aliens?
I myself believe in both. I mean for all we know, god could be an alien. But what is easier to believe? I mean, we really dont have any strong evidence of god or even that Jesus existed. We have more evidence of Flying scaucers and aliens. To some people God is easier to belive because of the security and comfort of knowing that we actually go somewhere when we die ( I believe that too, in God and all) But who says god isnt an alien?
Where is the proof and which one is easier to believe? I know I will get some negitive feed back on this question but think before you say anything, for your belief is just a theory.....

Have you ever given thought that your Aliens could be demonic beings and fallen angels that were cast down to the second heaven? You've never read the Bible, have you?

One day you will see the sun turn black as sack cloth and ashes and the moon to blood when the smoke arises from the abyss when Apollyon, Satan opens it. And Satan will open the abyss when he loses the battle to Michael the archangel.

Revelation 12:7-9 "And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him."

There is no wonder that the rational mind is obligated to reject these things because they are not part of any of our experiential history and certainly not subject to quantification or prediction. That is why these events will catch the world unaware, but they've been sitting on your shelf in your Bible for thousands of years.

Out of the BLUE man decides to believe in "ET phone home" instead of God's Holy Word. These flying saucered aliens are being cast out of the second heaven and coming down to check out the earth because they know the Bible better than humans know it.

The Bible speaks of different angels - seraphim, cherubim and archangels. Also chayot (living creatures) and ofanim (wheels) they carry God's throne.

Not all angels are huge, muscular men with wings. Some are small slimey unwinged demonic spirits. Some are huge, powerful creatures and some even come in human form to give messages. Some are so bad that they have been chained and ready for the wrath of God.

Honestly, it's easier for me to believe in aliens because I've seen a UFO with my own two eyes. It's very possible that 'god' or the one who created us was/is an alien, or there may have been several of them; the word 'god' is supposed to be translated as Elohim, which means gods. Ezekiel describes what sounds a whole lot like a UFO, and Elijah's chariot of fire may have been a UFO, too, if the stories are even real.

But since I'm not sure either way, I'm just having fun reading about and studying this stuff in much more depth.

Could be that the Earth will 'change' on the given date of 12/21/12. There will be little life which will become distorted (from what we're accustomed to) but smarter. Someone will figure out how to make a time machine, travel back to Bible times and Abraham + others will figure he/she is a god and make allegorical tales about their experience. Same with the Native Indians and Quetzalcoatl-or whoever. And the Egyptians get visited by guy and girl astronauts-hence the polytheistic thing. And since all cultures had a reverence for the night sky, it would make sense that that their gods and goddesses were from 'up there'.
Who knows? Truth is stranger than fiction...

I find it far easier to believe in the possibility that extra-terrestrial aliens exist. They would be organic and made of the same chemicals we are. They would have evolved on their own planet, within their own ecology. Although I have never actually seen an alien, I can easily understand that they are at least possible.

God, if He exists, may not even be "alive." Humanity has no knowledge of which substances (if any) His body (if any) might be made of. God is unlike anything anyone has ever seen and there is no certainty that His existence is even remotely possible. The fact that most Christians "feel God in their hearts" makes it very unlikely He can even exist in the physical realm.

I must add it angers me that you have the audacity to criticize our logic and lecture us about belief and theory even as you ask your question. Seems like you all you really wanted to do is piss people off, which you have accomplished.

i believe in both as well. but i personally think aliens are easiest to believe in just because, while theres no proof, u must take into acount the fact that space is ENDLESS. it never ends. it goes on forever and ever. beyond our solor system, beyond our galaxy lays and imense space filled with stars planets and much more. so how is it possible, that in this endless sky, that earth is the ONLY planet that can hold life? There are creatures even on earth that can survive things that no human would believe possible. so is it so hard to believe that even if no other planet can hold human life, that life can still exist? for all we know there may be some creature millions of lightyears away that breath hydrogen. there simply has to be another planet that can hold life. space is endless, the only problem is... just because its there doesnt mean we'll ever see it. it could be anywhere. and im not saying that they are super smart with UFO's or anything like that. but i still believe it is possible for life.

Aliens are easier to grasp! Man may have seen the Aliens and declared them god! For instance, Stonehenge...How do you explain it?? Or Atlantis? How do you explain the people that believed the world was flat... They argued it was flat until it was proved to be round.. How do you explain the murderous battles between religions...Remember the Crusaders? Whew, they were really crazed! Don't forget the Muslims... They still want holy war! Point?? Get along........

Do you mean aliens visiting Earth, or life on other worlds? is it intellegent life?

If you mean life on other worlds...YES there is. Life was discovered on Mars in 1976 by the Viking landers.

Aliens on Earth...possible, there are lots of reports of UFO's and abductions, but nothing concrete to prove anything.

A God...NO, no evidence what so ever (the bible is not evidence, its too old and doesnt make and sense). If you want to prove god, you need something more recent and more concrete.

There is evidence that aliens are god. Look at old Indian legends, you would be suprised what you can learn from them.

Aliens. The universe is far too large for earth to be the only inhabited planet. It would be like the ocean only having sardines. And those sardines only live in Boston Harbor. While the rest of the ocean is empty.

We have no proof that either exists, and no evidence that they do not exist. Still, aliens are, scientifically, more plausible than god.

It's not an either or question really, because if you believe in a god, you can easily believe that this god made life in more than one place. if you don't believe in god, you can still believe that there must be conditions in the vast universe that make life's development as inevitable elsewhere as it has turned out to have been inevitable on earth.
However, on balance, it does seem easier to believe in aliens alone than to believe that there had to be a god involved in all of this as well. (If you have a scientific mindset, of course.)

I think aliens are easier to believe than God, since it's a much broader category.

In order to be God, you have to be - well, omnipotent.

In order to be an alien, you have to be a lifeform that exists somewhere other than Earth. We can see on Earth that life can develop in places that would be inhospitable to us, so it doesn't seem too far-fetched that we'd at least find microbial life elsewhere in the universe. (I wouldn't be surprised to find some elsewhere in our own solar system.)
