I eat healthy and I get 9 hours or more of sleep and Iam 15 years old. I get really lazy in classes and loose consentration fast. Can you please help me?

Perhapes that's not enough sleep for you. People are differt because one may require 7 hours of sleep while another 10. Try bringing a water bottle around with you and drinking some but also just put some on your hand and wipe your face with it. I know it sounds weird but when I have splashed water on my face I feel more awake.

It could be a lot of things....Are you feeling depressed or anxious? Obsessive? Did something stressful/traumatic happen in your life recently?

People with depression, anxiety or any mental illness for that matter have trouble concentrating and feel tired no matter how much sleep they get. They feel "dead" too, and hence seem like they're lazy.

Or maybe you have ADD, but that sounds so cliche. Talk to your doctor or figure out if you've been feeling depressed or anxious.

it could just be the classroom. or the time that class is like after lunch. i had this teacher whose class i always got sleepy and unconcentrated in no matter what time of the day or how much sleep i got. and i had her as a teacher for a few years too so i've had her class in the morning, after lunch, afternoon and no matter what i got soo tired in her class.

What ever they are teaching you your not interested in there for your mind isn't being stimulated enough so you fall in and out of sleep. It's pretty normal don't worry about it we all did it,even your parents. The funny thing is just as soon as the bell rings you are so alert and ready to go.

because your bored!! it doesn't matter how much sleep ect you get. if your not interested in what's going on you're not going to stay alert. i was the same at school and got through it so don't stress

it happens to the best of us.....i just get bored and dont feel like lisening........try to pay as much attention as you can
