Some need the excitement of danger in death to put some spark in their otherwise dull lives.

Whether it is fact or fiction is not the point of global warming and the issues around conservation and preservation.
The truth is that something is happening, we are a wasteful and utterly selfish society looking after our creature comforts.
We have to become and should strive to be more mindful of the environment. Why wouldn't we want to save the earth, to be more cautious with our environment.
Who cares who said it, if it is true or not. The facts speak for themselves. When I was little we could drive the car on the lake and we did every year. Now the lake doesn't even freeze enough to walk on it and I couldn't make an ice rink in my backyard for the kids. This is sad, and really by being environmental I am really only saving myself money and that is a good thing. It helps the earth as well and that is an even better thing.
Let's all do our part. Help yourself and then that will help others as well.

Because there is LOTS of money to be made.
Take a closer look at the financial portfolios of people who are pushing the "man made global warming" and "oh my god we're all gonna die" agenda and you will find that they have HEAVILY invested in industries that will profit enormously if only they can pull of this mega scam.
It's been done plenty of times in history.
Wealthy families profited from the ice age scare of the late 1800's. Then again in the dust bowl scare. Then again in the next ice age scare of the 1970's. And now they're doing it again. People have short memories and don't look at historic photographs so they fall for it every time.
The so-called "consensus of scientists" is 53% of a specially selected group. It's funny how the same people who will cling to that statistic as a reason to believe will turn around and decry 53% of Christians who believe in Eden and not evolution, or 53% of people who think abortion is murder, or 53% of people who believe in ghosts, 53% who think UFO's are real, etc. Those are all consensus numbers, so why isn't the "time for debate is over" with those topics?
It's really amazing how gullible people are. P.T. Barnum was right, and it's almost like people WANT to be fooled and parted with their money.
If we could affect climate, Antarctica would be the site of the next Disney World. Siberia would be the world's bread basket. And Montana would be where everyone was going for Spring Break. Just like Walt Disney bought up swamp land. Don't you think SOMEONE out there would be DOING it? But of course, it can't be done.
This is NATURE in action. We don't amount to a f*rt in the wind as far as the planet is concerned. Just go to any rural place that's been abandoned only 10 years ago and see how much foliage there is, often hiding the place. Nature brushes us away in moments when it "wants" to.

Governor: We may not see definite effects, yet, but we see the causative forces pointing in a certain direction: 1. Vegetation converts CO2 to oxygen. Depleting the forests means that more carbon dioxide might build up; and CO2 is a greenhouse gas. 2. By removing fossil fuels and burning them constantly, we are adding to the heat of the entire planet. Normally, excess heat dissipates into space as microwave radiation, but if we cover the planet in CO2 and methane, the excess heat will be trapped and build up here. 3. Our cars and other machines increase greenhouse gasses as well. Even if a few degrees increase might seem like a benefit, the result could be melting of Greenland and Antartica, making oceans less salty and increasing see level. That would flood the coastlines in the world, which are heavy human population centers. And Europe might re-glaciate. Areas of the Northern Hemisphere might get fifty feet of snow dumped in two days. And it might be irreversible, which means too late, bye-bye human civilization.

Take a look at a satellite picture of earth 30 years ago and compare it too one taken today. Spot the difference and then you may believe in global warming. Honestly if anyone is being duped it's you pull your head out of your self righteous ecclesiastical *** and see the light. Look around there are so many examples of what happening to the enviroment because of mans intervention and increased consumerism that one could write a encyclopedia let alone a bible on the subject. Read more look more see more do more these are the true ways too wisdom

The polar bears in Northern Canada used to hunt seals on the ice at this time of year. Now they are coming into towns south of the coast because there is no ice for them to get on. The arctic Icepack is melting. I don't need to see it on the news, I know people living there.
So go ahead and tell yourself it is not warmer, turn up your air conditioner, and curse your energy companies for charging more for power.

Have you not noticed the drastic wheather changes within the last three years? Last year Siberia looked more llike a desert than a snow covered tundra. If you are not familiar with Siberia, there are supposed to be blizzards and snow storms practically all year round over there.

Either present the arguments in your own words or don't bother. I'm not going to trouble myself to sift through mounds of junk science to sort it all out for you. I could follow in your footsteps, and give a dozen or so links that refute every single argument given in the articles you gave, but would you even look at them? I doubt it. So why do you expect us to do the same?
Show some intellectual integrity man.

That's not real proof. In case you haven't noticed, the first URL was Junk Science. That should be self-explanatory.
Second, it's really happening. I recommend buying 'An Inconvenient Truth' movie. It's excellent.
Here's real proof:
