I never had one, but my friend has them...
I am not sure who is more scared when that happens, me or her...Mostly because she is positive she is gonna die...its a terrible thing to see someone you care about, go through that.

No, but my sister did for years until we learned that "panic attacks" are rooted in a "spirit of fear". She quit praying about panic attacks, which is the symptom, and got deliverance of the spirit of fear which entered during childhood and took more and more territory from her. She repented for having "entertained the spirit of fear", asked God to forgive her and asked Him to replace that death spirit with "power, love and a sound mind".
She then, resisted being fearful, by receiving her deliverance by faith that it could never return!
Today, she is free! No more panic attacks. She had already been a prisoner in her home for over 5 years. Don't EVER give in and do everything you can to resist it. This is NOT God's will for you or anyone. It is a stinking thief! (2 Tim.1: 7)

For me, Sinequan did the trick. There is NO NEED for prayer AT ALL with the right medication. Course, once the SSRIs can out, that was even better, although, all this happened years ago.
If you are having panic attacks, get to a doctor. Praying to Jesus is pointless in such a case.

The first time I had a panic attack i thought I was dying. I was scared. I prayed to God with all my might to forgive me of all my sins and that I did not want to go to hell and that his will be done. With that said I began to calm my self down. It worked for me. When people are scared God is usually the first person they call upon. Even ones who don't believe. They cry out for God. "Oh God"! I have heard that many times and it brings a smile to my face. In the end even the non believers believe.
On a plane with hundreds of people and they thought the plane was going down. Most everyone called upon the name of God.

I've never had panic attacks, ever. But I can tell you there's nothing evil about them or the people who have them. That's superstitious and backward thinking.

Forget about panic attacks. Haven't you heard others doing it, or you yourself done the same thing while throwing up bile after having a few too many drinks? "Oh, God... just get me through this..."
LOL.
Peace be with you!

I pray for God to get me through a panic/anxiety attack - I find prayer helps to calm me, dunno about the stuff you mentioned.
