By saying that we are happy to return to school, we are not nerds. But here are the following reasons:
1) We are reunited with our friends. Some of us aren't able to see each one of our friends this summer, and it's great to see them again at school.
2) We are able to meet new friends. Summer can get a little boring with the same people, and it's nice to have a change in seeing day-to-day faces.
3) We have responsibilities, such as homework. Summer is boring with nothing to do, and sometimes we actually enjoy schoolwork. This way, when we complete work, we are actually tired by the end of the day (and not staying up until 3 A.M.), and have an accomplished feeling.
4) Summer isn't forever, so we might as well attempt to be happy to go back to school! =)
I hope I've gave you a few reasons to look forward to school, or if not, enjoy your last few days of summer! You will be happy once you're at school, trust me!

Maybe they are excited to see their friends and what classes they have together. Im not entirely sure though. I for one am excited, yet nervous about the new school yr. Im going to be a sophomore and Im afraid that I may get my evil Eng teacher as I did last yr. But it all depends on the person. Some ppl may not be so psyched about school.

bcuz either there happy to see new people or show to the some atractive people haha but yes happy to see friends like im really excited to go back to skool cuz iam going into Middle skool and i want to be with freinds and i will have a new environment and Lockers and differnent classes it just sounds like fun
but people usually arent happy to be learning thats 4 sure!!!!

many people like going back to school cause they like school or they like going to the first day of school cause u get 2 c everyone again and it's exciting for a new school year, but others just like school overall.

I think that most people are excited to go back to school because their summer wasn't fun or that they miss their friends, when i was in grade school summer was the worst because i missed my friends and my parents got on my nerves.....does any of this pertain to you?

I don't know. People say 'to see their friends,' but if they're your friends, why didn't you hang out with them over the summer?
I don't hate school. I just don't like the homework and tests I get in advanced classes.

Some people like havin the fresh star of a new year and meeting new friends and teachers, and they like waking up for something every morning.

im not really sure cuz i LOVE MY SUMMER BREAK and i dont wanna deal with all the problems, projects and homework from school. OoO n i hate waking up early in the morning.

Back to school shopping and a frsh start! It's good to meet new people and have new classes.
