Hmm. I'm Catholic, and my parish is multi-racial. The Church accepts and honors people of all ethnicities. Check out the Knights of Peter Claver, a black Catholic group. There are thousands of Vietnamese Catholics, just to name one of many Asian nationalities that have a Catholic presence. Also, there are black and Asian saints who are honored by the Church.

Almost 2000 years the Catholics were persuading Asian Indians. They could win the hearts of about 2% population only.Indians could have thought as a Catholic Preist puts it;-"When we have a better Religious set up(Vedic Religion) why we should follow the Firangi(Foreighner's Religion) Even that 2% are mostly concentrated in Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the tip of India,Goa and a small % among Eastern Tribals. So now the catholic Churches are Coaxing ,goading, giving incentives/Health care from American Dollars to woo the 8% Tribals. There is some resentment among the Hindus and they also started counter measures in the same way."Jan kalyan" etc.--In Rural North India- mainly Hindi belt- the Catholics are almost 0%-Pope Paul- II- said recently in New Delhi--the Catholic Evangelists' performance in Asia is very poor.

As a Roman Catholic, the only reason i'm able to think of the Vatican has swept it below the rug as a thank you to talk is as a results of the fact there replaced into no message. This replaced right into a mass imaginative and prescient to basic human beings. Our woman did no longer seem to 3 visionary, and gave no message anticipate that she blesses us and prays for us. She regarded no longer basically to the Copts, yet Catholics, Muslims, and the different non secular persuasion that happend to work out her. that perhaps th ereason the Catholic Church fairly hasn't pronounced plenty, plus the top of the Coptic Church authorized the visual attraction, so it incredibly is unquestionably actual,no questions asked.

Everyone is welcomed. The reason why is that there are some Catholic Asian and blacks but they're low on numbers unlike Irish or Hispanics. Therefore, you won't see big numbers of blacks or Asians in Mass. Most blacks in America are Baptist while some Asians who are Christians are Protestant. Regardless, there are blacks and Asians in Mass in different areas of the country and in some parts of the world.

If you go to any location where there are blacks, asians, etc. you will find them in the Catholic churches there.
That's why it's called "Catholic". It means universal. It's all over the world, in every country, and what sort of people go to a particular parish is all because of who lives in that immediate area.

As the Roman Catholic Church is the largest Christian denomination world-wide I would say that there are likely MORE blacks and asians than whites.....
You just don't see them as much in the US...... (Unless you are living in New Orleans where in the last Pre-Katrina census the largest number of people who reported a religion indicated "Catholic" in an over 70% black city)

In a church in the city on the side of our town, there is a Catholic Church called O.L.O.A ( Our Lady of Assumption ) and there are hundreds of African American people that recieve Eucharist there. The Roman Catholic Church has set up missions in China so alot of Chinese people are now attending Roman Catholic Masses.

I was at Mass this morning for the Feast of the Assumption, and our parish, as usual, was populated by Asians, Hispanics/Latinos, African-Americans, Native Americans and (in the minority) plain ol' white folks. We have lots of people of different ethnicities and always have.
So I'm not sure where you experienced this, but it's not universally so.
