might, also u might really think about getting a passport if u r going to canada it will save u lot of time getting through the border

No, I don't think you need a visa, if it is just a transit (stopover) for 2 hours. As long you do not go out from the airport building, that means you have to stay in the waiting lounge.

Off course you can stroll around the surrounding area such as duty free or restaurant as long as you don't pass the immigration check point.

Well if you are going to Canada, I hope you have a Canadian visa.

That will depend on where you're a citizen. Better find out by calling the airline. I saw them give a Jamaican man a hard time at Paris airport and wouldn't let him on the plane to Miami because he didn't have a visa. He was just changing planes to Jamaica in Miami.
If you're from a country that can visit USA without a visa, you shouldn't need one just for a change at the airport.
