To wear a pentagram, is to say you feel the connection with the elements and respect the earth.
How is that evil?

Nope. I know a few people who know a bit about pentagrams and their related symbology.
Smart-aleck side note: Most of the people you see wearing them do so because they think it makes them LOOK a little evil. Funny, isn't it? Of course this mostly applies to teens and goths. I find that it is rather rare for a practicing pagan or Wiccan to actually display the pentagram. Usually, they display lesser known symbols (if any) that relate to something specific about their life and self.
The groups on the Christian right (I apologize, I really don't have anything against Christians) have perpetuated this idea so well that now it is a fashion to be ill-used by the uninformed.
So, basically, when I see someone wearing a pentagram, I automatically assume they are not evil, merely lame.

No.
If it was the size of a hubcab,I'd probably think they were fluffy.
Edit: By the way, Pentacle and Pentagram refer to a 3-D form, as in a tablet on an altar, and a 2-d form...not to the presence of absence of a circle, nor the direction of the points. You can't really wear a pentagram, unless it's marker or a tattoo.
The artifical distinction you are making is new age rubbish.
(Yours isn't the size of a hubcab, is it?)

Greetings!
No, but the Pentacle in Ceremonial Magick is never displayed-Wicca, however, has a bit more freedom of choice.
The five-pointed Star is not confined to those groups, and is a valid symbol in society, so a knee-jerk reaction like that would indicate fear caused by ignorance.

No, the pentacle/pentagram is not an evil object. The Catholic church said it was some time during the 1500's. So if the Catholic church said it was evil, it obviously isn't.

No because unlike many people, I know that a pentacle symbolizes different religions.

Of course not. I'm a Christian, and would probably just conclude (perhaps erroneously) that the wearer was Pagan. A pentacle is a symbol. It is not evil.

not unless they were wearing it in their skull with the points protruding thru their skin and they were spitting green stuff with flames shooting out their buttocks and smelled like death warmed over, well either that or i would think they were a spiked haired hippy freak with an upset stomach from eating undercooked pea soup and a case of bad gas who was lighting farts

Er...NO. The pentagram is symbolic of Wicca, and Wiccans are assuredly not evil.
