It only talks about the men/sons being born unto who ever, and not about any woman? Was this simply the fact that men wrote and put the bible together? I noticed that after I started reading the bible for the first time the other day (after about an hour my eyes started bleeding and my hands started burning so I put it down.)

bleeding eyes , and burning hands ,, Ahh yes,, I remember it well.. Have you ever watched one of those documentaries about the tribes in the amazon rain forest that time had somehow forgot?? these people find their ansestry very important, it's a part of their religion .,they go threw the names off all of their ansesters , going way back to the beginning . it's like a songish chant they go threw as some sort of ceremony , my guess is the writer of the origional bible was a member of a tribe of some kind ,, it was along time ago , I imagine everybody was a member of one of those tribes back then ..So if you just kind on skip threw all of those names Keeping in mind that they are a part of the story but only in a,,,, this tribe started because T and D got in a fight and T left to start his oun tribe, type of importance , it will ease the bleeding anyways

Because Men wrote it and applied their prejudices. Rather than assume responsibility for his own behavior, Adam blamed Eve. That should tell you the truth if you're able to be aware. Your lies are no less false.

family lines have always been recorded under men's names. Even in more modern times, children usually take the name of their fathers. It doesn't mean that women aren't important or anything.

Yep, that's why. Although oddly enough, the lines of Jewish genealogy are traced through the mothers!

Because, at that time in history, women had all the status of horses and cattle. You don't see any cow birth announcements in there, do you ?
